“人子啊！你要为埃及王法老作一首哀歌，对他说：‘你像列国中的少壮狮子，又像海中的海怪，你在河中翻腾，用你的爪搅动河水，使江河浑浊。

“人子啊，你要为埃及王法老作哀歌，说：从前你在列国中，如同少壮狮子；现在你却像海中的大鱼。你冲出江河，用爪搅动诸水，使江河浑浊。

“ Son of man, take up a lament concerning Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:“‘ You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas thrashing about in your streams, churning the water with your feet and muddying the streams.

“ Son of man, sing a song of sadness about Pharaoh Hophra, the king of Egypt. Tell him,“‘ You are like a lion among the nations. You are like a monster in the sea. You move around wildly in your rivers. You churn the water with your feet. You make the streams muddy.’ ”

“ Son of man, raise a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:“ You consider yourself a lion of the nations, but you are like a dragon in the seas; you burst forth in your rivers, trouble the waters with your feet, and foul their rivers.

“ Son of man, mourn for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and give him this message:“ You think of yourself as a strong young lion among the nations, but you are really just a sea monster, heaving around in your own rivers, stirring up mud with your feet.

“ Son of man, lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him,‘ You compare yourself to a lion of the nations, but you are like a monster in the seas. You thrash about in your rivers, churn up the waters with your feet, and muddy the rivers.

“ Son of man, take up a song of mourning over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him,‘ You compared yourself to a young lion of the nations, Yet you are like the monster in the seas; And you burst forth in your rivers And muddied the waters with your feet And fouled their rivers.’ ”

“ Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him:‘ You are like a young lion among the nations, And you are like a monster in the seas, Bursting forth in your rivers, Troubling the waters with your feet, And fouling their rivers.

Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou wast likened unto a young lion of the nations: yet art thou as a monster in the seas; and thou didst break forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.

“ Son of man, lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: You compare yourself to a lion of the nations, but you are like a monster in the seas. You thrash about in your rivers, churn up the waters with your feet, and muddy the rivers.”

Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou[ art] as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.

“ Son of man, sing a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him:“‘ You were like a lion among the nations, but you are a monster in the seas; you thrash about in your streams, stir up the water with your feet, and muddy your streams.

‘ Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and tell him,“ You were likened to a young lion of the nations; yet you are as a monster in the seas. You broke out with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.”

你要说：‘主耶和华这样说：埃及王法老啊！我要与你为敌，你这卧在自己河中的大海怪，你曾经说过：“这河是我的，是我自己造的。”

“人子啊！你要为推罗作一首哀歌。

狮子的洞穴在哪里？喂养幼狮的地方在哪里？公狮、母狮和幼狮不受惊吓之处，可以闲游的地方又在哪里呢？公狮为幼狮撕碎足够的食物，为母狮掐死活物；把猎物塞满了它的洞，把撕碎的填满了它的穴。万军之耶和华说：看哪！我必攻击你，我要把你的（按照《马索拉文本》，「你的」作「她的」;现参照其他古译本翻译）战车焚烧成烟，刀剑必吞灭你的幼狮；我必从地上除去你的猎物，你使者的声音也必不再有人听见。

你们在美好的草场上吃草，还不知足吗？剩下的草，你们竟用脚践踏；你们喝了清水，剩下的你们竟用脚搅浊。

“人子啊！你要为推罗王作一首哀歌，对他说：‘主耶和华这样说：你是完美的典范，满有智慧，全然美丽。

这就是人为埃及所唱的哀歌，列国的女子必唱这哀歌；她们必为埃及和它的众民唱这哀歌。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”

到那日，耶和华要施用他锐利、巨大和有力的刀，惩罚鳄鱼，就是那快行的蛇；惩罚鳄鱼，就是那曲行的蛇；并且要杀海中的大龙。

“你当为以色列的众领袖作一首哀歌，说：‘你的母亲是什么？是狮子群中的母狮，它卧在少壮狮子群中，养育它的小狮子。它养大其中一只小狮子，这幼狮成了一只少壮的狮子，学会了撕碎猎物，把人吃掉。列国听见了，就把它困在他们的坑中；他们用钩子把它带到埃及地去。母狮见自己所等候的落空了，所希望的幻灭了，就从它的小狮子中另取出一只，使它成为少壮的狮子。它在狮子群中行走；它已成了一只少壮的狮子，它学会了撕碎猎物，把人吃掉。

示巴人、底但人和他施各城镇的商人（按照《马索拉文本》，“他施各城镇的商人”作“他施的商人并她的少壮狮子”；现参照《七十士译本》和其他古译本翻译）都必问你：你来是要抢夺财物吗？你聚集军队是要掳掠货物吗？是要搬走金银、掳去牲畜财物吗？是要大肆抢掠吗？’

狮子从它的密林中上来了，毁坏列国的已经动身，从他的本处出发，为要使你的地荒凉，使你的城市破毁，无人居住。

耶和华的膀臂啊，醒来吧！醒来吧！穿上能力吧！像古时的日子，像上古的世代一样醒来吧！从前砍碎了拉哈伯，刺透了海龙的，不是你吗？

他们为你哀悼的时候，必为你作一首哀歌：有哪一座城，像在海中沉寂的推罗呢？

“人子啊！你要为埃及的众民哀号，要把埃及和强国的女子，与下坑的人一同送到地府那里。

犹大是只小狮子；我儿啊，你猎取了食物就上到洞穴去。他屈身伏卧，好像公狮，又像母狮，谁敢惊动他呢？

叫他们赶快为我们举哀，使我们的眼流下眼泪，使我们的眼皮涌出泪水。

他蹲伏躺下，好像公狮，又像母狮，谁敢使他起立呢？给你祝福的，愿他蒙福；咒诅你的，愿他受咒诅。’”

残暴的统治者辖制贫民，就像吼叫的狮子，又像饥饿觅食的熊。

你曾用你的大能分开大海，把海中怪兽的头都打碎了。你砸碎了利未亚坦（“利未亚坦”为原文音译词，或译：“海怪”〔伯3:8〕或“鳄鱼”〔伯41:1〕）的头，把它给住在旷野的人作食物。

埃及像尼罗河上涨，像江河的水翻腾；它说：‘我要上涨，淹盖大地；我要毁灭城镇和城里的居民。’
