「人子啊，為埃及的百姓哀哭吧！我要把她與各強國的人民一同送入陰間。

“人子啊，你要为埃及群众哀号，又要将埃及和有名之国的女子，并下坑的人，一同扔到阴府去。

“人子啊，你要为埃及的军队哀号，把他们和强盛之国一同扔到地底下，与那些下到地府的人在一起。

“人子啊，你要为埃及的军队哀号，把他们和强盛之国一同扔到地底下，与那些下到地府的人在一起。

“ Son of man, wail for the hordes of Egypt and consign to the earth below both her and the daughters of mighty nations, along with those who go down to the pit.

「人子啊，你要為埃及王法老唱哀歌，對他說，『你自認為是列邦中的雄獅，其實你像激蕩江河、用腳把江河攪渾的海怪。

今日，我派你到列邦列國去拔掉、拆除、毀滅、推翻、建造和栽植。」

為此，我要痛哭哀號，我要赤身光腳而行，像豺狼哀嚎，如鴕鳥悲鳴。

「『這是列國為埃及唱的哀歌，各國的婦女要為埃及和她的人民唱這哀歌。這是主耶和華說的。』」

這異象如同我從前在祂毀滅耶路撒冷時看見的異象，也像我在迦巴魯河邊看見的異象，我便俯伏在地。

那時，我要使你與那些墮入陰間的人一同下到作古之人那裡，使你與那些墮入陰間的人一同住在大地深處久已荒涼的地方，好讓你荒無人煙，在活人之地毫無尊榮。

所以，我差遣先知用我的話殺戮你們，我的審判必如閃電臨到你們。

可是，你必墜入陰間，掉進死亡的深坑。

耶穌快到耶路撒冷時，看見那城就哀哭，

要與喜樂的人同樂，與哀哭的人同哭。

那些圖謀毀滅我的人必下到陰間。

「耶和華啊，我被毀滅、落入墳墓有何益處？我歸於塵土，還能讚美你、宣揚你的信實嗎？
