我使埃及地荒凉，使这地失去它所充满的，又击杀其中所有的居民。那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。

When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the Lord.’

“ I will turn Egypt into an empty land. I will strip away everything in it. I will strike down everyone who lives there. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

When I make the land of Egypt desolate, and when the land is desolate of all that fills it, when I strike down all who dwell in it, then they will know that I am the Lord.

And when I destroy Egypt and strip you of everything you own and strike down all your people, then you will know that I am the Lord.

我必把埃及人分散到列邦，四散在各地；他们就知道我是耶和华。’”

因此，主耶和华这样说：看哪！我必把埃及地赐给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，他把埃及的财富带走，抢其中的财为掳物，夺其中的货为掠物，作他军兵的报酬。我把埃及地赐给他，作辛劳的报酬，因为他们都是为我效力的。这是主耶和华的宣告。

愿他们永远受辱惊惶，愿他们抱愧灭亡。使他们知道只有你的名是耶和华，唯有你是掌管全地的至高者。

我必使埃及成为荒地中的荒地，四十年之久，它的城必成为废城中的废城。我必把埃及人分散到列邦，四散在各地。

他使江河变为旷野，使水泉变为干旱无水之地。他使肥沃的土地变为咸田，都因住在那里的居民的邪恶。
