我要使埃及的土地荒涼，毀滅其中的居民，那時他們就知道我是耶和華。

When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the Lord.’

“ I will turn Egypt into an empty land. I will strip away everything in it. I will strike down everyone who lives there. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

When I make the land of Egypt desolate, and when the land is desolate of all that fills it, when I strike down all who dwell in it, then they will know that I am the Lord.

And when I destroy Egypt and strip you of everything you own and strike down all your people, then you will know that I am the Lord.

耶和華彰顯了自己的公義，使惡人自食其果。（細拉）

所以主耶和華說，『我要把埃及賜給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他必擄掠埃及的財富為戰利品，犒賞自己的軍隊。他和他的軍隊為我效力，所以我把埃及賜給他作為酬勞。』這是主耶和華說的。

願他們永遠羞愧驚恐，願他們在恥辱中滅亡。讓他們知道你是耶和華，唯有你是普天下的至高者。

我必使埃及成為荒地中的荒地，讓埃及的城邑淪為廢墟中的廢墟，長達四十年。我要將埃及人驅散到列國，分散到列邦。』

祂使江河變成荒漠，水泉變成乾地，叫沃土變成荒涼的鹽鹼地，因為那裡的居民邪惡。

大地和其中的萬物都屬於耶和華，世上的一切都是祂的。
