For the Lord Yahweh says:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will come on you.

主耶和華如此說：巴比倫王的刀必臨到你。

「主耶和華這樣說，『巴比倫王的刀必來攻擊你。

“‘主耶和華這樣說：巴比倫王的刀必臨到你。

因為主永恆主這麼說：巴比倫王的刀必攻擊你。

主耶和華曰、巴比倫王之刃必及爾、

主耶和華曰、我必使巴比倫王、大興干戈、率列邦所畏之勁旅、以伐埃及滅其威、殺其眾、

主天主如是云、巴比倫王之刃必臨爾、

“‘ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you.

The Lord and King says,“ I will send against you the sword of the king of Babylon.

“ For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you.

“‘ For this is what the Lord GOD says: The sword of Babylon’s king will come against you!

For the Lord God says this:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will attack you.

“ For thus says the Lord GOD:‘ The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

For this is what the Lord God says: The sword of Babylon’s king will come against you!

For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

“‘ For this is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ The sword of the king of Babylon will attack you.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken. I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before the king of Babylon with the groaning of a mortally wounded man.I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon; and the arms of Pharaoh will fall down. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he stretches it out on the land of Egypt.

A sword will come on Egypt, and anguish will be in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt. They take away her multitude, and her foundations are broken down.

“ For the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I will bring on Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north, with horses, with chariots, with horsemen, and an army with many people.

The daughter of Egypt will be disappointed; she will be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.”Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Behold, I will punish Amon of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with her gods, and her kings; even Pharaoh, and those who trust in him.I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants. Afterwards it will be inhabited, as in the days of old,” says Yahweh.

The word that Yahweh spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon should come and strike the land of Egypt.

and tell them, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his royal pavilion over them.
