I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

I gave it into the hands of the ruler of the nations, for him to deal with according to its wickedness. I cast it aside,

So I handed it over to the Babylonian ruler of the nations. I wanted him to punish it because it was so evil. I decided to get rid of it.

I will give it into the hand of a mighty one of the nations. He shall surely deal with it as its wickedness deserves. I have cast it out.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.

For all that do these things[ are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men,[ and] skilful to destroy.

Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.

They have heard that I sigh:[ there is] none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done[ it]: thou wilt bring the day[ that] thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit[ any] of these abominations;[ neither] any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:( For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which[ were] before you, and the land is defiled;)That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that[ were] before you.

And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
