‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Those who uphold Egypt shall fall, And the pride of her power shall come down. From Migdol to Syene Those within her shall fall by the sword,” Says the Lord GOD.

耶和华如此说：“扶助埃及的也必倾倒。埃及因势力而有的骄傲必降低微；其中的人民，从色弗尼塔起必倒在刀下。这是主耶和华说的。

“耶和华如此说：扶助埃及的必倾倒，埃及骄傲的权势必降为卑，从密夺到色弗尼，人必倒在刀下。这是主耶和华说的。

“耶和华如此说：扶助埃及的必倾倒，埃及骄傲的权势必降为卑，从密夺到色弗尼，人必倒在刀下。这是主耶和华说的。

“耶和华说，‘埃及的盟友都要覆灭，埃及的傲气必荡然无存，从密夺到色弗尼的居民都要丧身刀下。这是主耶和华说的。

“‘耶和华这样说：那些支持埃及的必倾倒，埃及所夸耀的势力必衰落。从密夺到色弗尼，他们都必倒在刀下；这是主耶和华说的：

“‘耶和華這樣說：那些支持埃及的必傾倒，埃及所誇耀的勢力必衰落。從密奪到色弗尼，他們都必倒在刀下；這是主耶和華說的：

『永恆主這麼說：那些支持埃及的也必傾覆，她勢力所驕矜的必下來：從密奪到色弗尼人都必在她境內倒斃於刀下：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

耶和華曰、扶持埃及者必蹶、埃及恃力之高傲必降、自密奪至色弗尼、俱仆於刃、主耶和華言之矣、

耶和華曰、必折埃及驕泰之心、自蜜奪至敘以尼、俱亡以刃、助埃及者亦必敗北、我耶和華已言之矣。

主如是云、助伊及者、俱必傾仆、伊及之驕傲必卑降、自密奪至敘以尼、其中人民俱亡於刃、此乃主天主所言、

“‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ The allies of Egypt will fall and her proud strength will fail. From Migdol to Aswan they will fall by the sword within her, declares the Sovereign Lord.

The Lord says,“ Those who were going to help Egypt will die. The strength Egypt was so proud of will fail. Its people will be killed by swords from Migdol all the way to Aswan,” announces the Lord and King.

“ Thus says the Lord: Those who support Egypt shall fall, and her proud might shall come down; from Migdol to Syene they shall fall within her by the sword, declares the Lord God.

“ For this is what the Lord says: All of Egypt’s allies will fall, and the pride of her power will end. From Migdol to Aswan they will be slaughtered by the sword, says the Sovereign Lord.

This is what the LORD says: Those who support Egypt will fall, and its proud strength will collapse. From Migdol to Syene they will fall within it by the sword. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.

‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Indeed, those who support Egypt will fall And the pride of her power will come down; From Migdol to Syene They will fall within her by the sword,” Declares the Lord God.

Thus saith Jehovah: They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Seveneh shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord Jehovah.

This is what the Lord says: Those who support Egypt will fall, and its proud strength will collapse. From Migdol to Syene they will fall within it by the sword. This is the declaration of the Lord God.

Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.

“‘ This is what the LORD says: Egypt’s supporters will fall; her confident pride will crumble. From Migdol to Syene they will die by the sword within her, declares the sovereign LORD.

“‘ Yahweh says:“ They also who uphold Egypt will fall. The pride of her power will come down. They will fall by the sword in it from the tower of Seveneh,” says the Lord Yahweh.

Indeed, therefore, I am against you and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from Migdol to Syene, as far as the border of Ethiopia.

Then the Lord said,“ Just as My servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder against Egypt and Ethiopia,so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians as prisoners and the Ethiopians as captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.Then they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation and Egypt their glory.And the inhabitant of this territory will say in that day,‘ Surely such is our expectation, wherever we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and how shall we escape?’”

God will not withdraw His anger, The allies of the proud lie prostrate beneath Him.

Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, And it was boundless; Put and Lubim were your helpers.

Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together.
