故主耶和華曰、我必以埃及眾庶之貨財、賜於巴比倫王、尼布甲尼撒、以犒其軍。

故主耶和華曰我必使利刃臨於爾國、人獸俱被殲滅、

天下諸王、素與巴比倫行淫、專事華靡、見厥火炎炎、必哭之哀、懼害及身、遙立云巴比倫大邑、素稱鞏固、一時刑至、哀哉、

古實人安居無恐、斯時我必遣使駕舟、至其地、令彼震驚哀痛、與埃及降災之日無異、其日伊邇。主耶和華曰、我必藉巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、使埃及眾庶俱亡、

萬有之主耶和華舉手一揮、埃及人無不畏葸、同於婦女、其意既定、攻擊埃及、使埃及畏猶大聞風戰慄。

耶和華曰、災降於迦勒底、巴比倫、及其牧伯哲士。災降於卜筮之輩、使之愚蠢、悍勇之卒、使之怯懦。災降於車馬、以及異族、使之喪膽、無異婦女。災降於貨財、被人刧掠。

我必使埃及民人、散處於列國、異邦他邑既變邱墟、埃及通國、及其邑郊、靡地不然、歷四十年。

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必使埃及人、兄弟友朋、城邑邦國、互相攻擊、埃及人必喪厥膽、其謀為我所敗、彼雖求偶像、為神所憑者、以及巫覡之輩、亦必委之於殘忍之主、暴虐之君。

故摩押四境、必相號泣、吉哈喇泄之基、必遭傾圮、居民哀慘。

彼悚然惶遽、如將娩之婦、大失之舟、毀於颶風兮。

今我欲雪宿忿、視其所行而加報施、爾曹當鼓譟直前、毀其垣墉、傾其基址、使巴比倫投誠。

異邦族類、必聞而畏、非利士民必悚然懼、以東諸伯必觳觫、摩押英豪必戰慄、迦南居民必喪膽。無不驚駭、爾施厥能敵不敢動、屹然如石、待耶和華所得之民經其地。
