堅巴比倫王之肱、付我刃於其手、折法老之肱、使呻吟於其前、若人受重傷然、

使巴比倫王膂力剛強、俾執我刃、折法老二肱使其嘆息於敵前、若人被重傷、而嘆息焉。

我必堅巴比倫王之臂、以我刃付於其手、我必折法老之臂、使其嘆息於巴比倫王前、若受傷者之嘆息然、使其嘆息於巴比倫王前若受傷者之嘆息然或作法老既受重傷必嘆息於巴比倫王前

I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before him like a mortally wounded man.

I will make the arms of the king of Babylon stronger. I will put my sword in his hand. But I will break the arms of Pharaoh. And he will groan in front of Nebuchadnezzar. He will cry out like someone dying from his wounds.

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before him like a man mortally wounded.

古实人啊，你们必死在耶和华的刀下。

我要使巴比伦王的臂膀强壮有力，而法老的双臂必软弱无力。我要把我的刀交在巴比伦王手中，让他挥刀攻击埃及。那时他们就知道我是耶和华。

“我耶和华膏立塞鲁士为王，我牵着他的右手帮助他征服列国、降服列王；我使城门洞开，让他通行无阻。我对他说，

因为他们想恐吓我们，以为我们会吓得手发软，无法完成工程。但上帝啊，求你使我的手有力量！

城中传来垂死之人的呻吟，受伤者不断呼救，上帝却置之不理。

我是独一无二的耶和华，除我以外再没有上帝。虽然你不认识我，但我还是赐你力量。

我要磨快闪亮的剑，主持公道，报应仇敌，惩罚恨我的人。我要使我的箭饱饮鲜血，被杀被掳之人的血；我的剑要吞噬人肉，敌人将领的肉。’

耶和华啊，求你起来迎头击倒他们，求你持刀救我脱离恶人。

“主耶和华对泰尔这样说，‘你倾覆的时候，你中间的杀戮声和受伤之人的惨叫声岂不震动沿海地区吗？

现在，我要把你们的国家交给我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，连田野的走兽也要归他管辖。各国都要臣服于他和他的子孙，直到他的国家灭亡。那时，许多国家和强大的君王必奴役他。如果哪一邦或哪一国不肯臣服于巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，不肯负巴比伦王的轭，我必用战争、饥荒和瘟疫惩罚他们，直到我借巴比伦王的手毁灭他们。这是耶和华说的。

是上帝赐我力量，使我行为纯全。

耶和华——我的磐石当受称颂，祂使我能争善战。

“主耶和华说，“‘我要借巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手消灭埃及的百姓。

你赐我征战的能力，使我的仇敌降服在我脚下。

“看啊，时候将到，我要惩罚巴比伦的神像，使巴比伦到处都是受伤者的呻吟。这是耶和华说的。

祂必经过苦海，击打海浪，尼罗河必干涸，亚述的骄傲必扫地，埃及的势力必灭没。我必让他们靠着我强盛，他们必奉我的名行事。这是耶和华说的。”

然而，斧头怎能向舞动它的人自夸呢？锯子怎能向用锯的人炫耀呢？难道棍子可以挥动举它的人吗？手杖可以举起它的主人吗？

耶和华说：“亚述王有祸了！他是我的愤怒之棍，他手中拿着我发烈怒的杖。我要差遣他去攻打一个不虔敬的国家，一个惹我发怒的民族，去抢夺、掳掠他们的财物，像践踏街上的泥土一样践踏他们。
