『主永恆主這麼說：我必毁滅偶像，必從挪弗使佛相滅絕：必不再有人君出自埃及地；我必將懼怕放於埃及地境內。

主耶和华如此说：“我必毁灭偶像，从挪弗除灭神像；必不再有君王出自埃及地。我要使埃及地的人惧怕。

“主耶和华如此说：我要毁灭偶像，从挪弗除掉神像；不再有君王出自埃及地，我要使埃及地的人惧怕。

“主耶和华如此说：我要毁灭偶像，从挪弗除掉神像；不再有君王出自埃及地，我要使埃及地的人惧怕。

“主耶和华说，‘我要毁灭偶像，铲除挪弗的神像。埃及再没有君王，国内到处充满恐惧。

主耶和华这样说：“‘我必毁灭偶像，使虚无的神像从挪弗灭绝。必不再有君王从埃及地而出；我也必使惧怕临到埃及地。

主耶和華如此說：我必毀滅偶像，從挪弗除滅神像；必不再有君王出自埃及地。我要使埃及地的人懼怕。

「主耶和華如此說：我要毀滅偶像，從挪弗除掉神像；不再有君王出自埃及地，我要使埃及地的人懼怕。

「主耶和華說，『我要毀滅偶像，剷除挪弗的神像。埃及再沒有君王，國內到處充滿恐懼。

主耶和華這樣說：“‘我必毀滅偶像，使虛無的神像從挪弗滅絕。必不再有君王從埃及地而出；我也必使懼怕臨到埃及地。

主耶和華曰、我必毀其偶像、絕其神像於挪弗、埃及不復有君、其地震驚、我使之然、

主耶和華又曰、我必斫其偶像、使不存於挪弗、埃及無君、庶民恐懼、

主天主如是云、我必毀滅偶像、自挪弗剿除神像、使伊及不復有君、使伊及人民、無不恐懼、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis. No longer will there be a prince in Egypt, and I will spread fear throughout the land.

The Lord and King says,“ I will destroy the statues of Egypt’s gods. I will put an end to the gods the people in Memphis worship. Egypt will not have princes anymore. I will spread fear all through the land.

“ Thus says the Lord God:“ I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis; there shall no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt; so I will put fear in the land of Egypt.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will smash the idols of Egypt and the images at Memphis. There will be no rulers left in Egypt; terror will sweep the land.

“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I will destroy the worthless idols and put an end to the false gods in Memphis. There will no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt. And I will instill fear in that land.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ I will also destroy the idols And make the images cease from Memphis. And there will no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt; And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will also destroy the idols, And cause the images to cease from Noph; There shall no longer be princes from the land of Egypt; I will put fear in the land of Egypt.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis; and there shall be no more a prince from the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

This is what the Lord God says: I will destroy the idols and put an end to the false gods in Memphis. There will no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt. So I will instill fear in that land.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause[ their] images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: I will destroy the idols, and put an end to the gods of Memphis. There will no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt; so I will make the land of Egypt fearful.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis. There will be no more a prince from the land of Egypt. I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

他們必經過埃及海；海中波浪必被擊打，尼羅河深處都必乾涸。亞述的狂傲必被抑制，埃及權柄之杖也必消逝。

『你們要傳揚於埃及，要宣告於密奪，宣告於挪弗和答比匿，說：「要站出來在陣位上，作好了準備；因為有刀劍在你四圍吞滅着人呢。」

並且挪弗人和答比匿人也剃光了你的頭頂。

萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝說：『看吧，我必察罰挪的亞捫神跟法老和埃及、以及埃及的神和她的王、跟法老和倚靠法老的人。

怎麼啦！我看見他們都驚慌，轉身退後呀！他們的勇士被擊敗了，倉倉皇皇逃跑，並不回頭呀！四圍盡是恐怖！永恆主發神諭說。

這一夜裏、我要巡行埃及地，把埃及地一切頭胎生的、無論是人是牲口、都擊殺掉；埃及一切神明我也要判罰：我永恆主。

關於埃及的神託之言。看哪，永恆主駕輕快之雲來到埃及；埃及的偶像在他面前都發顫；埃及人都膽戰心驚。我必激動埃及人去攻擊埃及人，他們就打起仗來，各人攻打自己的族弟兄，各人攻打自己的鄰舍，城攻打城，國攻打國；埃及人心裏都很狼狽徬徨；我必混亂他們的計謀；他們必求問神明和念念有詞的、交鬼的和行巫術的。我必將埃及人送在嚴厲的主上手中；兇猛的王必轄制他們：這是主萬軍之永恆主發神諭說的。江海中的水必乾透，江河必旱竭乾涸。江河支流必變臭，埃及尼羅河溝的水必降低，而旱竭；荻子和蘆葦都必枯爛。尼羅河旁的菖蒲都必枯萎；河邊所種的都必枯乾，被吹散，歸於無有。打魚的人必憂傷悲哀，垂釣於尼羅河中的必都悲傷，撒網於水面上的必衰萎無力。作麻活的必失望：梳麻的和織白布料的都必羞愧。社會的砥柱人物必被擊碎，所有受薪的工人心裏都很憂愁。瑣安的首領極其愚昧，法老大有智慧的謀士所設的乃是畜類無知的計謀。你們怎敢對法老說：『我是智慧人的兒子，我是古時君王的子孫』呢？那麼你的智慧人在哪裏呢？萬軍之永恆主對責罰埃及所定的旨意、他們儘可以告訴你，儘可以播知出來呀。瑣安的首領很愚昧，挪弗的首領受欺哄；埃及族派的中堅人物使埃及人走迷了路。永恆主使歪曲的靈攙入於其中，以致他們使埃及一切所作的全都迷迷糊糊，好像醉酒的人嘔吐時迷迷糊糊一樣。也沒有甚麼事、是任何人可為埃及作的，無論他是頭是尾，是棕枝是燈草。當那日子、埃及人必像婦人一樣；他們必因萬軍之永恆主的掄手、就是他在埃及身上所掄的、來發顫懼怕。

因為你看，他們雖往亞述去，埃及卻要把他們收拾掉；孟斐斯人必埋葬他們；他們的銀製寶物蕁麻必佔據；他們帳棚中必生長荊棘。

『萬軍之永恆主發神諭說，當那日我必從這地剪除偶像的名字，叫那些名字不再被記念；假神言人和污穢之靈、我也必從這地除去。

他必在埃及神的廟中使火着起來，將它們燒掉或擄去；他必囊括埃及地，好像牧人披上衣服，從那裏安然出來。他必打碎埃及地太陽廟的柱像，放火焚燒埃及神的廟。」』有傳與耶利米的話語、論到所有住埃及地的猶大人、論到那住密奪、答比匿、挪弗、和巴忒羅地的居民、說：

永恆主向他們必顯為可畏懼，因為他必使地上眾神明都饑餓瘦弱，列國沿海地帶都必各從自己的地方敬拜他。

我必恢復埃及人的故業，使他們返回他們的本地、他們根原之地、巴忒羅；在那裏他們必成為低微之國；它必成為列國中最低微的；它必不再自己抬高於列國之上；我必減少他們的人數，免致他們再轄制列國。
