我要使江河干涸，将这地卖在恶人手中；我要藉外国人的手，使这地和其中所充满的变为荒芜；这是我—耶和华说的。

I will dry up the waters of the Nile and sell the land to an evil nation; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the Lord have spoken.

And I will dry up the Nile and will sell the land into the hand of evildoers; I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it, by the hand of foreigners; I am the Lord; I have spoken.

你要说，主耶和华如此说：埃及王法老，你这卧在自己江河中的海怪，看哪，我与你为敌。你曾说：‘我的尼罗河是我的，是我为自己造的。’

他斥责海，使海枯干，使一切江河干涸。巴珊和迦密衰残，黎巴嫩的花草也衰残了。

所以，耶和华如此说：看哪，我必为你伸冤，为你报仇；我必使巴比伦的海枯竭，使它的泉源干涸。

第六位天使把碗倾倒在大幼发拉底河上，河水就干了，为要给从日出之地所来的众王预备道路。

耶和华的怒气向以色列发作，把他们交在抢夺他们的人手中，又把他们交给四围仇敌的手中，以致他们在仇敌面前再也不能站立得住。

我要将埃及人交在严厉的主人手中，残暴的君王必管辖他们；这是主—万军之耶和华说的。海水枯竭，河流干涸，江河发臭，埃及的河水必然减少而枯干。芦苇和芦荻枯萎，尼罗河旁的植物，在尼罗河的沿岸，并尼罗河旁所种的一切全都枯焦，被风吹去，归于无有。打鱼的哀哭，所有在尼罗河钓鱼的都必悲伤，在水上撒网的也都衰残。以细致的麻编织的必羞愧，织布的必变苍白；织布的心情沮丧，所有的佣工心都愁烦。

外国人，就是列国中凶暴的人，已把它砍断抛弃。它的枝条掉落山间和一切谷中，枝子折断，落在地上一切河道。地上的万民都离开它的遮荫，抛弃了它。

你要死在陌生人手中，像未受割礼之人的死，因为我曾说过，这是主耶和华说的。”

我对深渊说：‘干了吧！我要使你的江河干涸’；

有干旱临到它的众水，它们就必干涸；因为这是雕刻偶像之地，人因偶像颠狂。

埃及地必荒芜废弃，他们就知道我是耶和华。“因为法老说‘尼罗河是我的，是我所造的’，所以，看哪，我必与你和你的江河为敌，使埃及地，从密夺到色弗尼，直到古实边界，全然废弃荒芜。

“因为地和其中所充满的都属于主”。
