我要使江河乾涸，將這地賣在惡人手中；我要藉外國人的手，使這地和其中所充滿的變為荒蕪；這是我－耶和華說的。

I will dry up the waters of the Nile and sell the land to an evil nation; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the Lord have spoken.

I will dry up the waters of the Nile River. I will sell the land to an evil nation. I will use the power of outsiders to destroy the land and everything in it. I have spoken. I am the Lord.”

And I will dry up the Nile and will sell the land into the hand of evildoers; I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it, by the hand of foreigners; I am the Lord; I have spoken.

你要說，主耶和華如此說：埃及王法老，你這臥在自己江河中的海怪，看哪，我與你為敵。你曾說：『我的尼羅河是我的，是我為自己造的。』

他斥責海，使海枯乾，使一切江河乾涸。巴珊和迦密衰殘，黎巴嫩的花草也衰殘了。

所以，耶和華如此說：看哪，我必為你伸冤，為你報仇；我必使巴比倫的海枯竭，使它的泉源乾涸。

第六位天使把碗傾倒在大幼發拉底河上，河水就乾了，為要給從日出之地所來的眾王預備道路。

耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，把他們交在搶奪他們的人手中，又把他們交給四圍仇敵的手中，以致他們在仇敵面前再也不能站立得住。

我要將埃及人交在嚴厲的主人手中，殘暴的君王必管轄他們；這是主－萬軍之耶和華說的。海水枯竭，河流乾涸，江河發臭，埃及的河水必然減少而枯乾。蘆葦和蘆荻枯萎，尼羅河旁的植物，在尼羅河的沿岸，並尼羅河旁所種的一切全都枯焦，被風吹去，歸於無有。打魚的哀哭，所有在尼羅河釣魚的都必悲傷，在水上撒網的也都衰殘。以細緻的麻編織的必羞愧，織布的必變蒼白；織布的心情沮喪，所有的傭工心都愁煩。

外國人，就是列國中兇暴的人，已把它砍斷拋棄。它的枝條掉落山間和一切谷中，枝子折斷，落在地上一切河道。地上的萬民都離開它的遮蔭，拋棄了它。

你要死在陌生人手中，像未受割禮之人的死，因為我曾說過，這是主耶和華說的。」

我對深淵說：『乾了吧！我要使你的江河乾涸』；

有乾旱臨到它的眾水，它們就必乾涸；因為這是雕刻偶像之地，人因偶像顛狂。

埃及地必荒蕪廢棄，他們就知道我是耶和華。「因為法老說『尼羅河是我的，是我所造的』，所以，看哪，我必與你和你的江河為敵，使埃及地，從密奪到色弗尼，直到古實邊界，全然廢棄荒蕪。

「因為地和其中所充滿的都屬於主」。
