But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.

But the people of Israel do not want to listen to you. That is because they do not want to listen to me. All the Israelites are very stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

But the people of Israel won’t listen to you any more than they listen to me! For the whole lot of them are hard hearted and stubborn.

其人顏厚心頑、我遣爾詣之曰、主耶和華有言告爾、

耶和華諭之曰、凡民所言、爾可從之、彼非棄爾、乃棄我也、不欲我為其王、

彼之容貌、自為之證、猶所多瑪自著其罪、而不之掩、禍哉其人、自取其害、

自猶大王亞們子約西亞十三年、迄今歷二十三年、耶和華以言諭我、我傳於爾、夙興而道、惟爾弗聽、耶和華亦遣其僕諸先知至爾、夙興遣之、惟爾不從、不側耳以聽、

其民憾之、遣使於其後、曰、我儕不欲斯人君我也、

耶路撒冷歟、耶路撒冷歟、殺先知、石擊使於爾者乎、我欲集爾赤子、似牝鷄集雛翼下者屢矣、而爾不欲也、

故甘霖不降、春雨不零、惟爾具有淫婦之顏、不知羞愧、

宜憶我言云、僕不大於主、人若窘逐我、亦將窘逐爾、若守我言、亦將守爾言矣、人將因我名悉以是加爾、不識遣我者故也、若我未來誨之、彼則無罪、今其罪無可諉矣、惡我者、亦惡我父、我若於其中未行人所未行者、彼則無罪、今彼於我及父、且見且惡矣、

其中有血、流於光磐之上、不傾於地、為土所掩、

爾託耶和華名諭我之言、我不聽從、

耶和華歟、爾目非顧信實乎、爾擊之、彼不懷憂、爾滅之、彼不受教、惟自堅其顏、逾於磐石、不肯歸誠、

我遣我僕諸先知詣爾、夙興而遣之曰、噫、此可憎之事、我所疾者、爾勿行之、惟彼不從、不側耳以聽、不改其惡仍焚香於他神、

然爾弗欲就我以得生、我不受榮於人、但知無上帝之愛於爾衷焉、我以我父之名而來、而爾弗納、若他人以己名而來、爾將納之、爾互相受榮、而不求自獨一上帝所來之榮、詎能信乎、勿意我將訟爾於父、有訟爾者、即爾所仰望之摩西也、爾若信摩西、則必信我、因其所書者指我、若不信其書、詎信我言哉、

又曰、聽爾者、即聽我、拒爾者、即拒我、拒我者、即拒遣我者也、○
