惟以色列家、顙堅心頑、必不聽爾、以其不聽我也、

惟以色列族、剛愎性成、不聽我命、不從爾言。

惟以色列族、必不聽爾、蓋不肯聽我、以色列全族面無羞恥、其心剛愎、

But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.

But the people of Israel do not want to listen to you. That is because they do not want to listen to me. All the Israelites are very stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

But the people of Israel won’t listen to you any more than they listen to me! For the whole lot of them are hard hearted and stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not want to listen to you because they do not want to listen to me. For the whole house of Israel is hardheaded and hardhearted.

yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. The entire house of Israel certainly is stubborn and obstinate.

這眾子面無羞恥，心裏剛硬。我差你往他們那裏去，你要對他們說：主耶和華如此說。

耶和華對撒母耳說：「百姓向你說的一切話，你只管依從；因為他們不是厭棄你，乃是厭棄我，不要我作他們的王。

他們的面色證明自己的不正；他們述說自己的罪惡，並不隱瞞，好像所多瑪一樣。他們有禍了！因為作惡自害。

「從猶大王亞們的兒子約西亞十三年直到今日，這二十三年之內，常有耶和華的話臨到我；我也對你們傳說，就是從早起來傳說，只是你們沒有聽從。耶和華也從早起來，差遣他的僕人眾先知到你們這裏來（只是你們沒有聽從，也沒有側耳而聽），

他本國的人卻恨他，打發使者隨後去，說：『我們不願意這個人作我們的王。』

耶路撒冷啊！耶路撒冷啊！你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死那奉差遣到你這裏來的人。我多次願意聚集你的兒女，好像母雞把小雞聚集在翅膀底下；只是你們不願意。

因此甘霖停止，春雨不降。你還是有娼妓之臉，不顧羞恥。

你們要記念我從前對你們所說的話：『僕人不能大於主人。』他們若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的話。但他們因我的名要向你們行這一切的事，因為他們不認識那差我來的。我若沒有來教訓他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。恨我的，也恨我的父。我若沒有在他們中間行過別人未曾行的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見也恨惡了。

城中所流的血倒在淨光的磐石上，不倒在地上，用土掩蓋。

「論到你奉耶和華的名向我們所說的話，我們必不聽從。

耶和華啊，你的眼目不是看顧誠實嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟；你毀滅他們，他們仍不受懲治。他們使臉剛硬過於磐石，不肯回頭。

我從早起來差遣我的僕人眾先知去說，你們切不要行我所厭惡這可憎之事。他們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，不轉離惡事，仍向別神燒香。

然而，你們不肯到我這裏來得生命。「我不受從人來的榮耀。但我知道，你們心裏沒有神的愛。我奉我父的名來，你們並不接待我；若有別人奉自己的名來，你們倒要接待他。你們互相受榮耀，卻不求從獨一之神來的榮耀，怎能信我呢？不要想我在父面前要告你們；有一位告你們的，就是你們所仰賴的摩西。你們如果信摩西，也必信我，因為他書上有指着我寫的話。你們若不信他的書，怎能信我的話呢？」

又對門徒說：「聽從你們的就是聽從我；棄絕你們的就是棄絕我；棄絕我的就是棄絕那差我來的。」
