But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.

But the people of Israel do not want to listen to you. That is because they do not want to listen to me. All the Israelites are very stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

“从犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚第十三年直到今日，这二十三年来，常有耶和华的话临到我，我也不断对你们传讲，你们却不听从。耶和华虽然不断差遣他的仆人众先知到你们那里去；但你们却没有听从，毫不留心。

他本国的人却恨他，就派使者跟着去说：‘我们不愿意这个人作王统治我们。’

耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷，你杀害先知，又用石头把奉派到你那里的人打死。我多次想招聚你的儿女，好像母鸡招聚小鸡到翅膀底下，只是你们不愿意。

所以甘霖停止，春雨不降；你还是一副妓女的面孔（“面孔”原文作“额”），不顾羞耻。

你们要记住我对你们说过的话：‘仆人不能大过主人。’他们若迫害我，也必定迫害你们；他们若遵守我的话，也必定遵守你们的话。但他们因着我的名，要向你们行这一切，因为他们不认识那差我来的。如果我没有来，也没有对他们讲过什么，他们就没有罪；但现在他们的罪是无可推诿的了。恨我的，也恨我的父。如果我没有在他们中间作过别人没有作过的事，他们就没有罪；但现在我和我的父，他们都看见了，也都恨恶。

因为她所流的血还在城中；她把血泼在光滑的磐石上，不是倒在地上，被尘土掩盖。

“你奉耶和华的名对我们所说的话，我们不听从。

耶和华啊！你的眼目不是要看诚实的事吗？你击打他们，他们却不觉得伤痛；你摧毁他们，他们仍不肯接受管教。他们板着脸，脸皮比磐石还硬，总不肯回转。

虽然我不断差遣我的仆人众先知到你们那里去，说：你们千万不可行我所恨恶，这可憎的事！他们却不听从，毫不留心，不肯离开他们的恶行，仍向别神烧香。

然而你们却不肯到我这里来得生命。“我不接受从人而来的称赞；我知道你们心里没有神的爱。我奉我父的名而来，你们不接待我；如果有别人以自己的名义而来，你们倒接待他。你们彼此接受称赞，却不寻求从独一的神而来的称赞，怎么能信呢？不要以为我要向父控告你们，有一位控告你们的，就是你们所仰赖的摩西。你们若信摩西，也必信我，因为他所写的书曾论及我。你们若不信他所写的，怎能信我的话呢？”

听从你们的，就是听从我；弃绝你们的，就是弃绝我；弃绝我的，就是弃绝那差我来的。”
