But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you will say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:’ The one who hears, let him hear; and the one who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house.

但我同你說話的時候，我必開你的口，你就要對他們說：「主永恆主這麼說」；要聽的可以聽；不要聽的、任他不聽；因為他們總是叛逆之家呀。

惟我諭爾時、必啟爾口、爾則告之曰、主耶和華云、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之、彼乃悖逆之家也、

後余啟示爾、爾口能言、播傳我命、告彼悖逆之家、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之。

我與爾言時、必啟爾口、以主天主之言告之、以主天主之言告之原文作當告之曰主天主如是云欲聽者則聽、不欲聽者聽其不聽、彼原為忤逆之族、

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people.

But later I will speak to you. I will open your mouth. Then you will tell them,‘ Here is what the Lord and King says.’ Those who listen will listen. And those who refuse to listen will refuse. They always refuse to obey me.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God.’ He who will hear, let him hear; and he who will refuse to hear, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.

But when I give you a message, I will loosen your tongue and let you speak. Then you will say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says!’ Those who choose to listen will listen, but those who refuse will refuse, for they are rebels.

“ Son of man, you live in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see but do not see, ears to hear but do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.So as for you, son of man, prepare for yourself baggage for exile and go into exile by day in their sight; that is, go into exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.

On that day your mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and no longer be silenced. So you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or not,‘ This is what the Lord God says.’ ”

for I will provide you eloquence and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to oppose or refute.

“ On that day I will make a horn sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth among them. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

And behold, you are to them like a love song by one who has a beautiful voice and plays well on an instrument; for they hear your words but they do not practice them.

Like emery harder than flint I have made your forehead. Do not be afraid of them or be dismayed before them, since they are a rebellious house.”

And I told the exiles all the things that the Lord had shown me.

Moreover, I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be unable to speak and will not be a man who reprimands them, since they are a rebellious house.

But the Lord said to him,“ Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say.”

As for them, whether they listen or not— for they are a rebellious house— they will know that a prophet has been among them.

And he* said to me,“ Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.Let the one who does wrong still do wrong, and the one who is filthy still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous still practice righteousness, and the one who is holy still keep himself holy.”

and pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,

The one who has ears to hear, let him hear.

The one who has ears, let him hear.”

Now the hand of the Lord had been upon me in the evening, before the survivors came. And He opened my mouth at the time they came to me in the morning; so my mouth was opened and I was no longer speechless.
