我使爾舌卷、瘖不能言、維彼悖逆之流、毋庸督責、

I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people.

凡在公庭、正言讒論、督責人者、為人所憾、

爾必遭昏夜、不睹光明、不見異象、不能占驗、日必沉西、晝變晦冥、以罰偽先知焉、先見者抱愧、占卜者蒙羞、上帝不應獨祈、行皆掩口、

天其聞之、地其聽之、耶和華曰、我養民如保赤子、而反忤逆。

以法蓮族專事偶像、我始聽之、

惟爾束腰、勃然而興、盡述我命、勿畏其威。否則我必使爾驚懼特甚。

邑門已墮門楗已折、王公牧伯、羈留於異邦、律例不講、維彼先知莫睹耶和華異象兮。

爾必瘖不能語、至事成之日、以爾不信我言、時至必應、民候撒加利亞、奇其久於殿內、及出、不能言、知殿內必有所見、蓋以首示意、而竟瘖矣、○

勿使驕者虐遇我、惡者搖撼我兮。作惡者隕越、至於喪亡、不復振兮。
