I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people.

於邑門邑門或作公庭責人者、斯民憾之、以正而言者、以正而言者或作言正直者為彼所厭、

爾必瘖不能言、直至事成之日、以爾不信我言、屆時、我言必應、民候撒迦利亞、奇其久於殿內、及出、不能與人言、眾知其在殿內見異像、因其但能以首示意、而竟瘖矣、

莫容驕傲人之足踐踏我、莫容惡人之手搖撼我、作惡之人、已經顛蹶、被推仆不能復起、

主天主曰、日將至、我必使斯地之民饑渴、饑非為餅、渴非為水、乃為欲聽主之言、饑非為餅渴非為水乃為欲聽主之言或作饑非因絕糧渴非因無水乃因不得聽主之言人必遊行、自此海至彼海、自北至東、往來奔走、尋求主之言而不能得、
