我要使你的舌头贴住上膛，使你变成哑巴，不能作责备他们的人，因为他们是叛逆的民族。

我將使爾舌黏於腭、瘖啞不能責之、彼乃悖逆之家、

我使爾舌卷、瘖不能言、維彼悖逆之流、毋庸督責、

我使爾舌貼於上齶、使爾為瘖、不得斥責斯民、彼原為忤逆之族、

I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people.

I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth. Then you will be silent. You will not be able to correct them. That’s because they always refuse to obey me.

主啊！求你开我的嘴，使我的口宣扬赞美你的话。

他对我说：“人子啊！我差派你到以色列人那里去，就是到那背叛我的叛逆国民那里去！他们和他们的列祖都得罪了我，直到今日。这人民十分顽固，心里刚硬，我差派你到他们那里去。你要对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说。’他们或听或不听（他们原是叛逆的民族），也必知道在他们中间有一位先知。“人子啊！至于你，虽然荆棘和蒺藜在你周围，你又住在蝎子群中，你不要怕他们，也不要怕他们讲的话。他们原是叛逆的民族，你总不要怕他们讲的话，在他们面前，也不要惊惶。他们或听或不听，你只要把我的话告诉他们，他们原是叛逆的。“人子啊！至于你，你要听我对你讲的话。不要叛逆我，像那叛逆的民族一样。张开你的口，把我赐给你的吃下去！”

他们讨厌那在城门口主持公道的人，恨恶说正直话的。

因此你们只有黑夜，没有异象，只有黑暗，没有默示。对先知，日头要下落，为他们，白日变为黑暗。先见必抱愧，得默示的人要蒙羞；他们都必掩着上唇，因为没有神的答覆。

诸天哪！要听。大地啊！要留心听。因为耶和华说：“我把孩子养育，使他们成长，他们却背叛了我。

以法莲和偶像连在一起，任凭他吧！

“因此，你要束腰，你要起来，把我吩咐你的一切话，都告诉他们。不要因他们惊惶，不然我就使你在他们面前惊惶。

锡安的众城门已经陷入地里；耶和华把锡安的门闩都毁坏折断了。锡安的君王和领袖都身在列国中；锡安再没有律法了；它的众先知也得不到从耶和华而来的异象。

看吧！到了时候我的话必要应验；因为你不信我的话，你必成为哑巴，直到这些事成就的那一天，才能说话。”众人等候撒迦利亚；因他在圣殿里迟迟不出来，觉得奇怪。等到他出来，却不能讲话，竟成了哑巴，不断地向他们打手式，他们就知道他在圣殿里见了异象。

求你不容骄傲人的脚践踏（“践踏”原文作“临到”）我，不让恶人的手使我流离飘荡。作恶的人必跌倒；他们被推倒，不能再起来。

“看哪！日子快到，这是主耶和华的宣告。我必使饥荒临到这地，这饥荒不是因为没有食物，这干渴不是因为没有水；而是因为听不见耶和华的话。他们从这海飘流到那海，从北到东，到处奔走，要寻求耶和华的话，却寻不见。
