Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears.

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he stood condemned.For he regularly ate with the Gentiles before certain men came from James. However, when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, because he feared those from the circumcision party.Then the rest of the Jews joined his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.

Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

This means one must not transgress against and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.For God has not called us to impurity but to sanctification.Therefore, the person who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who also gives you His Holy Spirit.

Everyone who remains in Him does not sin; everyone who sins has not seen Him or known Him.Little children, let no one deceive you! The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.The one who commits sin is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the Devil’s works.Everyone who has been born of God does not sin, because His seed remains in him; he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God.

Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.Because of these, God’s wrath comes on the disobedient,and you once walked in these things when you were living in them.But now you must also put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth.

So, whoever thinks he stands must be careful not to fall.

Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their thoughts.They are darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them and because of the hardness of their hearts.They became callous and gave themselves over to promiscuity for the practice of every kind of impurity with a desire for more and more.But that is not how you learned about the Messiah,assuming you heard about Him and were taught by Him, because the truth is in Jesus.

I’m not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my dear children.

And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are irresponsible, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

A rebuke cuts into a perceptive person more than a hundred lashes into a fool.

In addition, Your servant is warned by them; there is great reward in keeping them.

False messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.Take note: I have told you in advance.

Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will learn more.

I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from Him who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the good news about the Messiah.But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, a curse be on him!As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.

Pay close attention to your life and your teaching; persevere in these things, for by doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.

As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be committed and repent.

Take note! I, Paul, tell you that if you get yourselves circumcised, Christ will not benefit you at all.Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to keep the entire law.You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.You were running well. Who prevented you from obeying the truth?

But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and practices iniquity, and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

let him know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his life from death and cover a multitude of sins.

For know and recognize this: Every sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of the Messiah and of God.Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things.
