我何时指着恶人说：他必要死；你若不警戒他，也不劝戒他，使他离开恶行，拯救他的性命，这恶人必死在罪孽之中；我却要向你讨他丧命的罪。

我謂惡人曰、爾必死、如爾不警之、不以言戒之、使彼轉離其惡途、以救其生命、則彼惡人必死於其罪、我必索其血於爾手、

我言惡人必死、如爾不示之、使彼悛改、以獲生命則彼惡人、將死於罪、而我亦必罰爾。

When I say to a wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Suppose I say to a sinful person,‘ You can be sure you will die.’ And you do not warn them. You do not try to get them to change their evil ways in order to save their life. Then that sinful person will die because they have sinned. And I will hold you responsible for their death.

If I say to the wicked,‘ You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

If I warn the wicked, saying,‘ You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths.

我的弟兄們，如果你們中間有人被迷惑離開了真理，而有人使他回轉過來，這人應當知道：那使一個罪人從他的迷途中回轉過來的，將拯救他的靈魂脫離死亡，並且遮蓋眾多的罪孽。

所以我今天向你們見證：對於任何人的滅亡，我都是清白的！因為神的整個計劃，我沒有一樣因畏縮而不傳講給你們。

彼得還說許多別的話鄭重地做見證，又勸告他們說：「你們從這扭曲的世代中得救吧！」

後來，耶穌又對他們說：「我要去了，你們將要尋找我，並且將死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你們不能去。」

不是的。我告訴你們：你們如果不悔改，都會同樣滅亡。」

你要留意自己和自己的教導，在這些事上要有恆心，因為這樣做，不但能救你自己，也能救那些聽從你的人。

所以我對你們說過『你們將死在自己的罪孽中。』事實上，你們如果不信我就是那一位，就將死在自己的罪孽中。」

只是分辨善惡樹上的果實，你不可吃，因為在吃的日子，你必定死。」

不是的。我告訴你們：你們如果不悔改，都會同樣地滅亡。

所以，你們應當悔改，應當回轉，使你們的罪孽被抹去，

實際上你們應當清楚知道這一點：所有淫亂的、汙穢的，或貪心的——就是拜偶像的——在基督和神的國度裡都得不到繼業。不要讓任何人用虛空的話把你們欺騙了；正是為了這些，神的震怒就臨到那些不信從的兒女身上。

惡人因自己的惡行被推倒，義人在臨死時有投靠。

惡人卻有禍了，他們必遭災難，因為他們手所做的必回報到自己身上。

這是為要向這世代追討那從創世以來所流的眾先知的血，就是從亞伯的血起，直到在祭壇和聖所之間被殺的撒迦利亞的血為止。「是的，我告訴你們：這世代將要為此被追討。

至於你們的生命之血，我必為你們追討：我要向野獸追討，我也要向人，甚至向各人的兄弟追討人命。那殺人流血的，他必被殺流血，因為神是按照自己的形像造人的。

不要輕易給人按手，也不要在別人的罪孽上有份，要保守自己純潔。

只有園子中間那棵樹上的果實，神說過『你們不可吃，也不可碰，免得你們死。』」蛇卻對女人說：「你們不一定死，

更何況惡人把義人殺死在義人的家裡、在他自己的床上，我難道不會從你們手中追討殺他流血的罪，把你們從地上除滅嗎？」

魯本就回應他們，說：「我不是對你們說過：『不要對那孩子犯罪』嗎？可是你們不肯聽；看哪，他的血債現在來追討了！」
