靈把我舉起帶走了。我心裡苦悶，充滿憤怒，耶和華大能的手在我身上。

The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord on me.

耶和華的靈降在我身上，把我帶到一個山谷，那裡遍地都是骸骨。

祂好像伸出一隻手，抓住我的頭髮。在異象中，靈把我舉到天地之間，將我帶到耶路撒冷聖殿內院的北門，那裡供奉著惹耶和華憤恨的神像。

現在你們給我找一個琴師來。」琴師彈琴的時候，耶和華的靈降在以利沙身上，

就在迦勒底人境內的迦巴魯河畔，耶和華的話特別傳給了布西的兒子以西結祭司，耶和華的能力降在他身上。

願我出生的那天受咒詛！願我母親生我的那天不蒙祝福！願那告訴我父親喜得貴子、使他歡喜的人受咒詛！願那人像被耶和華無情毀滅的城！願他早晨聽見哀鳴，中午聽見戰爭的呐喊，因為他沒有把我殺死在母腹中，沒有使母腹成為我的墳墓，讓我永遠留在裡面。為什麼我要從母胎出來，經歷患難和痛苦，在羞辱中度過一生呢？

耶和華啊，你欺騙我，我被你騙了。你制伏我，勝過我。如今，我成了人們終日嘲笑、戲弄的對象。我每次說預言，都大聲疾呼：「暴力和毀滅要來了！」我因傳講耶和華的話而終日遭受侮辱和譏笑。有時我打算不再提起耶和華，不再奉祂的名宣講，但祂的話如一團火在我心中燃燒，憋在我骨頭裡，我無法忍住不說。

耶和華的靈降在以利亞身上，他就束上腰帶，飛奔回城，在亞哈之前到達耶斯列的城門。

耶穌得知法利賽人聽見祂收門徒、為人施洗比約翰還多，便離開猶太回加利利。其實不是耶穌親自施洗，而是祂的門徒施洗。

說：「僕人們這裡有五十個壯士，請讓他們去尋找你師傅吧，或許耶和華的靈把他放在某座山上或某個山谷裡了。」以利沙說：「你們不要派人去找了。」

第六年六月五日，我正在家中與猶大的眾長老同坐，主耶和華的能力降在我身上。

撒瑪利亞婦人說：「你是個猶太人，怎麼向我這撒瑪利亞婦人要水喝？」原來猶太人和撒瑪利亞人互不往來。

就對耶和華說：「你為什麼為難僕人？我做了什麼令你不悅的事，你竟把管理這些民眾的重擔放在我身上？難道他們是我的骨肉，是我生的嗎？為什麼你要我像父親呵護兒子一樣，把他們抱到你應許給他們祖先的地方呢？他們都哭著向我要肉吃，我去哪裡找肉給他們吃呢？管理民眾的責任實在是太重了，我一個人擔當不起啊！你既然這樣對待我，求你施恩殺了我吧，別讓我受苦了！」耶和華對摩西說：「你給我招聚七十個以色列人的長老——你所瞭解的首領，把他們帶到會幕，讓他們站在你身邊。我要在那裡降臨，對你說話，把降在你身上的靈也賜給他們，讓他們為你分擔管理民眾的責任，免得你獨自承擔。你要叫民眾潔淨自己，到明天就會有肉吃。因為我聽見了他們哭著要肉吃、說埃及的日子更好，我必給他們肉吃。他們將不止吃一天、兩天、五天、十天或二十天，

那時，靈把我舉起，我聽見後面有隆隆的聲音說：「耶和華的榮耀在祂的居所當受稱頌！」

耶和華啊，我怒你所怒，無法容忍。耶和華說：「你把我的怒氣發向街頭的孩童和聚集成群的青年。丈夫、妻子和老人都要一同被擄。
