Then he added,“ Son of man, let all my words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself.

又諭我曰、人子、我所諭爾之言、當心受耳聽、

And he said to me,“ Son of man, listen carefully and take to heart all the words I speak to you.

He continued,“ Son of man, listen carefully. Take to heart everything I tell you.

Moreover, he said to me,“ Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.

Next he said to me,“ Son of man, listen carefully to all my words that I speak to you and take them to heart.

Moreover, He said to me,“ Son of man, take into your heart all My words which I will speak to you and listen closely.

Moreover He said to me:“ Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thy heart, and hear with thine ears.

Next He said to me:“ Son of man, listen carefully to all My words that I speak to you and take them to heart.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

And he said to me,“ Son of man, take all my words that I speak to you to heart and listen carefully.

Moreover he said to me,“ Son of man, receive in your heart and hear with your ears all my words that I speak to you.

The voice said to me,“ Son of man, eat what I am giving you— eat this scroll! Then go and give its message to the people of Israel.”So I opened my mouth, and he fed me the scroll.“ Fill your stomach with this,” he said. And when I ate it, it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more.

Listen to his instructions, and store them in your heart.

And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not join them in their rebellion. Open your mouth, and eat what I give you.”

Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold.

Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life.

Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God— which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.
