竟向天上之主自高、使人將其殿之器皿、取至爾前、爾與爾大臣及妃嬪、以之飲酒、讚美金銀銅鐵木石所造諸神、彼不見不聞不知、惟掌爾生氣生氣或作呼吸及爾命運爾命運原文作爾諸道塗之天主、爾反不頌揚之、故天主使手顯現、書此文字、所書之文、曰彌尼、彌尼、提客勒、烏法珥新、彌尼譯即數之義提客勒譯即衡之義烏法珥新譯即分之義其解如斯、彌尼者、言天主數爾國年、至此乃終、提客勒者、言爾見衡於權、知爾虧缺、批累斯與上烏法珥新同義者、言爾國分裂、歸於瑪代、巴西、於是伯沙撒命人以紫袍衣但以理、以金索垂其項、更為但以理頒詔、命治理國、位居第三、命治理國位居第三或作命治理國三分之一是夜迦勒底王伯沙撒被殺、

民呼曰、此神之聲、非人之聲也、希律不歸榮於天主、故主之使者、立擊之、為蟲所噬而氣絕、○
