“ Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ You were the seal of full measure, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

“人子啊，你要为泰尔王唱哀歌，告诉他，主耶和华这样说，“‘你曾经是完美的典范，充满智慧，美丽无瑕。

“人子啊！你要为推罗王作一首哀歌，对他说：‘主耶和华这样说：你是完美的典范，满有智慧，全然美丽。

「人子啊，你要為泰爾王唱哀歌，告訴他，主耶和華這樣說，『你曾經是完美的典範，充滿智慧，美麗無瑕。

“人子啊！你要為推羅王作一首哀歌，對他說：‘主耶和華這樣說：你是完美的典範，滿有智慧，全然美麗。

『人子啊，你要為推羅王舉哀唱歌，對他說：主永恆主這麼說：『你是「完美」之印章，滿有才智，十全美麗，

人子歟、當為推羅王作哀歌、謂之曰、主耶和華云、爾純全如玉印、智慧充足、美麗完備、

人子、當為推羅王作哀歌、曰、主耶和華曰、爾若至美之玉、以巧捷之技、雕琢為印、美麗無儔、

人子、當為推羅王作哀歌、告之曰、主天主如是云、爾自號為無所不備、智慧充足、得為全美、

“ Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

“ Son of man, sing a song of sadness about the king of Tyre. Tell him,‘ The Lord and King says,“‘ “You were the model of perfection. You were full of wisdom. You were perfect and beautiful.

“ Son of man, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord God:“ You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

“ Son of man, sing this funeral song for the king of Tyre. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord:“ You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and exquisite in beauty.

“ Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

“ Son of man, take up a song of mourning over the king of Tyre and say to him,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

“ Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

“ Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him: This is what the Lord God says: You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

“ Son of man, sing a lament for the king of Tyre, and say to him,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ You were the sealer of perfection, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

“ Moreover, take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

“ You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;and tell Tyre,‘ You who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many islands, the Lord Yahweh says:“ You, Tyre, have said,‘ I am perfect in beauty.’Your borders are in the heart of the seas. Your builders have perfected your beauty.

They will take up a lamentation over you, and tell you,“ How you are destroyed, who were inhabited by seafaring men, the renowned city, who was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all who lived there!”

Jeremiah lamented for Josiah, and all the singing men and singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day; and they made them an ordinance in Israel. Behold, they are written in the lamentations.

When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by way of you to Spain.

For it is written,“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing.”Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Yahweh of Armies says,“ Consider, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for the skillful women, that they may come.Let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion,‘ How we are ruined! We are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because they have cast down our dwellings.’”Yet hear Yahweh’s word, you women. Let your ear receive the word of his mouth. Teach your daughters wailing, and everyone teach her neighbor a lamentation.

“‘“ This is the lamentation with which they will lament. The daughters of the nations will lament with this. They will lament with it over Egypt, and over all her multitude,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

For he has said,“ By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I have understanding. I have removed the boundaries of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures. Like a valiant man I have brought down their rulers.

The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

Fire has gone out of its branches. It has devoured its fruit, so that there is in it no strong branch to be a scepter to rule.’ This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.”

that you will take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say,“ How the oppressor has ceased! The golden city has ceased!”

Therefore select from among you, brothers, seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

“ Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said,‘ I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God—behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that is hidden from you;by your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures;by your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—”

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,“ He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”

In their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying,‘ Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the middle of the sea?’

Yahweh says,“ Don’t let the wise man glory in his wisdom. Don’t let the mighty man glory in his might. Don’t let the rich man glory in his riches.

who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.

‘ Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and tell him,“ You were likened to a young lion of the nations; yet you are as a monster in the seas. You broke out with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.”

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth.This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Yahweh.
