“他施人因你各樣豐富的財物，就作你的貿易夥伴；他們用銀、鐵、錫和鉛來換取你的貨物。雅完人、土巴人和米設人都與你通商；他們用奴隸和銅器來換取你的商品。伯陀迦瑪人用馬、戰馬和騾子來換取你的貨物。底但人與你通商，沿海許多地方都作你貿易的市場；他們用象牙和烏木支付給你。亞蘭人因你的產品很多，就作你的貿易夥伴；他們用綠寶石、紫色布、刺繡、細麻布、珊瑚、紅寶石，來換取你的貨物。猶大和以色列地都與你通商；他們用米匿的麥子、餅、蜜、油和乳香來換取你的商品。大馬士革人因你產品很多，又因你各樣豐富的財物，就用黑本酒和白羊毛（“白羊毛”或譯：“察哈爾羊毛”）來與你交易，威但人用烏薩出的酒（“用烏薩出的酒”原文作“和從烏薩來的雅完人”）來換取你的貨物；他們用鍛鐵、桂皮和菖蒲，來交換你的商品。底但人用馬鞍毯子來與你交易。阿拉伯人和基達所有的領袖都作你通商的顧客；他們用羊羔、綿羊和山羊，來與你交易。示巴和拉瑪的商人都與你交易；他們用各樣上等的香料，各種寶石和黃金，來換取你的貨物。哈蘭人、干尼人、伊甸人、示巴的商人、亞述人和基抹人，都與你交易。他們用美麗的衣服、藍色刺繡的袍子、色彩繽紛的地毯，用繩子綁得結實，在你的市場上與你交易。他施的船隻運載你的商品，你在海的中心，滿載貨物，極其沉重。給你蕩槳的已經把你蕩到水深之處；東風在海的中心把你吹破。你的財富、貨物、商品、水手、舵手、修補裂縫的、與你進行貿易的，在你那裡所有的戰士，並在你中間所有聚集的人、在你傾覆的日子，都必在海的中心沉下去。因你舵手的呼叫聲，郊野都必震動。所有蕩槳的、水手和航海的舵手，都必離開他們的船隻，站在陸上。他們必為你放聲痛哭，把塵土撒在自己的頭上，在灰中打滾。他們必因你把頭剃光，腰束麻布，為你痛心哭泣，苦苦悲哀。他們為你哀悼的時候，必為你作一首哀歌：有哪一座城，像在海中沉寂的推羅呢？你的貨物從海上運出去的時候，曾使多國的人飽足；因你豐富的財物和商品，你使地上的君王都富裕。如今你在深水的地方，被海水沖破；你的商品和所有在你那裡聚集的人，都沉下去了。沿海地帶所有的居民都因你驚駭；他們的君王都極其恐慌，面容扭曲。各族的商人都嗤笑你；你必遭遇可怕的災禍，你就永遠不再存在了。’”

因為各國都喝她淫亂烈怒的酒醉了；地上的君王與她行淫，世上的商人因她奢華揮霍就發了財。”
