Your wealth, merchandise and wares, your mariners, sailors and shipwrights, your merchants and all your soldiers, and everyone else on board will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your shipwreck.

“ Your riches, wares, and merchandise, Your mariners and pilots, Your caulkers and merchandisers, All your men of war who are in you, And the entire company which is in your midst, Will fall into the midst of the seas on the day of your ruin.

Thy riches, and thy wares, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the dealers in thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, with all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

在神发怒的日子，财物毫无益处；唯有公义能救人脱离死亡。

你的帆是用埃及刺绣的细麻布做的，可作你的旗帜；你的篷是用以利沙沿岸的蓝色和紫色布做的。西顿和亚发的居民给你荡桨；推罗啊！你中间的技师作你的舵手。迦巴勒的技师和老练的工匠都在你那里修补裂缝；所有海上的船只和水手都在你那里，与你进行贸易。

他们必掳去你的财富，以你的货财为掠物；他们必破坏你的城墙，拆毁你华丽的房屋，把你的石头、木头和瓦砾都投在水中。

大马士革人因你产品很多，又因你各样丰富的财物，就用黑本酒和白羊毛（“白羊毛”或译：“察哈尔羊毛”）来与你交易，威但人用乌萨出的酒（“用乌萨出的酒”原文作“和从乌萨来的雅完人”）来换取你的货物；他们用锻铁、桂皮和菖蒲，来交换你的商品。

“地上的商人也为她悲哀痛哭，因为没有人再买他们的货物：就是金、银、宝石、珍珠；细麻布、紫色布、丝绸、朱红色布；各样香木，各样象牙制品，各样极贵重的木器、铜器、铁器、大理石制品；肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香；酒、油、面粉、麦子；牛、羊、马、车、奴仆、人口。你所贪恋的果子离开你了！一切珍馐美味、华丽的美物，都从你那里消失，再也找不到了！贩卖这些货物，藉着她发了财的商人，因为害怕她受的痛苦，就远远地站着，痛哭悲哀，说：‘有祸了！有祸了！这大城啊！就是一向穿着细麻布、紫色、朱红色的衣服，佩戴着金子、宝石和珍珠装饰的，一时之间，这么大的财富竟荡然无存！’“所有船长、旅客、水手，以及凡是靠海谋生的，都远远地站着。他们看见了焚烧她的烟，就喊叫说：‘有哪一座城能与这大城相比呢？’他们又把尘土撒在自己头上，痛哭悲哀，喊着说：‘有祸了！有祸了！这大城啊！凡是有船航行海上的，都因这城的财宝发了财；一时之间她竟成了荒场！’天哪，你要因她欢喜！众圣徒、众使徒、众先知啊，你们也要因她欢喜！因为神已经在她身上为你们伸了冤。”有一位大力的天使，把一块好像大磨石一样的石头，举起来抛在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样被猛力地抛下去，决不能再找到了！弹琴、奏乐、吹笛、吹号的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！各样手艺技工，在你中间决不能再找到了！推磨的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！灯的亮光，在你中间决不能再照耀了！新郎新娘的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！你的商人一向都是地上的大人物，万国都因你的邪术受了迷惑。先知、圣徒和地上一切被杀的人的血，都在这城里找到了！”

他们用美丽的衣服、蓝色刺绣的袍子、色彩缤纷的地毯，用绳子绑得结实，在你的市场上与你交易。

示巴和拉玛的商人都与你交易；他们用各样上等的香料，各种宝石和黄金，来换取你的货物。
