This is what the Lord GOD says to Tyre:“ Won’t the coasts and islands quake at the sound of your downfall, when the wounded groan and slaughter occurs within you?

主耶和华对推罗如此说：“在你中间行杀戮，受伤之人唉哼的时候，因你倾倒的响声，海岛岂不都震动吗？

主耶和华对推罗如此说：“在你中间行杀戮，受伤的人唉哼时，海岛岂不都因你倾倒的响声震动吗？

主耶和华对推罗如此说：“在你中间行杀戮，受伤的人唉哼时，海岛岂不都因你倾倒的响声震动吗？

“主耶和华对泰尔这样说，‘你倾覆的时候，你中间的杀戮声和受伤之人的惨叫声岂不震动沿海地区吗？

“主耶和华对推罗这样说：‘杀戮在你中间发生，受伤的人都在唉哼的时候，众海岛岂不因你倾倒的声音而震动吗？

主耶和華對泰爾如此說：「在你中間行殺戮，受傷之人唉哼的時候，因你傾倒的響聲，海島豈不都震動嗎？

主耶和華對推羅如此說：「在你中間行殺戮，受傷的人唉哼時，海島豈不都因你傾倒的響聲震動嗎？

主耶和華對推羅如此說：「在你中間行殺戮，受傷的人唉哼時，海島豈不都因你傾倒的響聲震動嗎？

「主耶和華對泰爾這樣說，『你傾覆的時候，你中間的殺戮聲和受傷之人的慘叫聲豈不震動沿海地區嗎？

“主耶和華對推羅這樣說：‘殺戮在你中間發生，受傷的人都在唉哼的時候，眾海島豈不因你傾倒的聲音而震動嗎？

『主永恆主對推羅這麼說：在你中間有大行殺戮的事，受刺傷的人都在唉哼着——那時沿海地帶聽到你傾覆的響聲，豈不都震動麼？

主耶和華謂推羅曰、爾傾圮時、傷者呻吟、殺戮行於爾中、諸島聞之、豈不震動乎、

主耶和華告推羅曰、爾之城垣傾圮、被傷者號呼、居民見殺、洲島聞之、豈不震動。

主天主告推羅曰、爾之城垣傾圮、見傷者號呼、居民被殺、洲島聞之、豈不震動、

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Tyre: Will not the coastlands tremble at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan and the slaughter takes place in you?

The Lord and King speaks to Tyre. He says,“ The lands along the coast will shake because of the sound of your fall. Wounded people will groan because so many are dying there.

“ Thus says the Lord God to Tyre: Will not the coastlands shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan, when slaughter is made in your midst?

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Tyre: The whole coastline will tremble at the sound of your fall, as the screams of the wounded echo in the continuing slaughter.

The Lord God says this to Tyre:“ Will the coastlands not shake from the sound of your downfall when the wounded groan, when the slaughter takes place in your midst?

“ Thus says the Lord GOD to Tyre:‘ Will the coastlands not shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded cry, when slaughter is made in the midst of you?

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?

This is what the Lord God says to Tyre:“ Won’t the coasts and islands quake at the sound of your downfall, when the wounded groan and slaughter occurs within you?

Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?

“ This is what the sovereign LORD says to Tyre: Oh, how the coastlands will shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan, at the massive slaughter in your midst!

“ The Lord Yahweh says to Tyre:‘ Won’t the islands shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made within you?

All the inhabitants of the coasts and islands are appalled at you. Their kings shudder with fear; their faces are contorted.

At the sound of their fall the earth will quake; the sound of her cry will be heard at the Red Sea.

I made the nations quake at the sound of its downfall, when I threw it down to Sheol to be with those who descend to the Pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all the well-watered trees, were comforted in the underworld.

Now the coastlands tremble on the day of your downfall; the islands in the sea are alarmed by your demise.’”

People will go into caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, away from the terror of the LORD and from his majestic splendor, when he rises to terrify the earth.

I will cause many peoples to be appalled at you, and their kings will shudder with fear because of you when I brandish my sword in front of them. On the day of your downfall each of them will tremble every moment for his life.

His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.This expression,“ Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken— that is, created things— so that what is not shaken might remain.
