假我民以色列之手、依我烈怒大忿、行報復於以東、使知我之報復、主耶和華言之矣、○

我震怒以東、必使我民以色列族、侵伐其土地、以雪我忿、使知我實降是災、我耶和華已言之矣。

我必藉我民以色列之手、復報以東人、彼必循我之盛忿烈怒、行刑在以東、使以東人知我如何加報、此乃主天主所言、○

I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

I will use my people Israel to pay Edom back. They will punish Edom because my anger against it is great. They will know how I pay back my enemies,” announces the Lord and King.

And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God.

耶和华说：“看啊，时候将到，我要使亚扪人的拉巴城外响起战争的呐喊。拉巴必沦为废墟，它周围的乡村都要被焚烧，以色列人必收复失地。这是耶和华说的。

申冤在我，我必报应，到时候他们必站不住脚，他们遭祸的日子近了，他们的末日来了。’“耶和华见自己的子民力量衰竭，奴隶和自由人所剩无几，必为他们主持公道，怜悯祂的仆人。

这位身披红衣、穿着华丽、充满力量、从以东的波斯拉阔步而来的是谁呢？“是宣告公义、有拯救大能的我。”你的衣服为何是红色的，好像榨酒池中踩踏葡萄者的衣服？“我独自在榨酒池踩踏，万民中无人跟我在一起。我在愤怒中踩踏他们，在烈怒中践踏他们；他们的血溅到我的衣服上，染红了我的衣服。我心中定了报仇的日子，我救赎我子民之年已经来临。我环顾四周，惊讶地看见无人帮助，无人扶持。于是，在烈怒的推动下，我用臂膀独自拯救。我在愤怒中践踏万民，让他们饱尝我的烈怒，把他们的血倒在地上。”

所以主耶和华说，我凭我的永恒起誓，你憎恨他们，满腹怒气和嫉妒，我也必这样对待你。我审判你的时候，以色列人就会认识我。

义人必因恶人遭报而欢欣，并用恶人的血洗脚。这样，人们必说：“义人终有善报，确实有一位审判天下的上帝。”

我们知道上帝说过：“申冤在我，我必报应。”祂又说：“主要审判祂的百姓。”落在永活上帝的手中是可怕的！
