以西結於爾為徵、視其所為、爾必為之、斯事既成、爾必知我乃主耶和華。

以西結必為爾作先兆、凡其所為、爾必為之、斯事既成、爾則知我乃主天主、

Ezekiel will be a sign to you; you will do just as he has done. When this happens, you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.’

Moreover take for yourself an iron plate, and set it as an iron wall between you and the city. Set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.

Then God said to him:“ Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, But I will utterly take them away.Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, Will save them by the Lord their God, And will not save them by bow, Nor by sword or battle, By horses or horsemen.”Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son.Then God said:“ Call his name Lo-Ammi, For you are not My people, And I will not be your God.

indeed, therefore, I will stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

And all the trees of the field shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the high tree and exalted the low tree, dried up the green tree and made the dry tree flourish; I, the Lord, have spoken and have done it.”
