“人子啊！你要记下今天的日子，正正是今天，因为巴比伦王就是在这一天围困耶路撒冷。

『人子啊，你要把今日的名字，正正今日、寫下來；就正是巴比倫王向耶路撒冷施壓力圍困的這一日。

人子歟、其記錄是日、是日巴比倫王逼近耶路撒冷、

人子、爾當記錄是日、今日巴比倫王、攻耶路撒冷、

人子、爾當記錄此日、當此日巴比倫王至耶路撒冷以攻之、

“ Son of man, write down today’s date. The king of Babylon has surrounded Jerusalem and attacked it today.

So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. They encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it.

The Lord said to me,“ Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher- Shalal- Hash- Baz.”

Then the Lord replied:“ Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.For these are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.
