他们必不得向耶和华奠酒，即便奠酒也不蒙悦纳。他们的祭物必如居丧者的食物，凡吃的必被玷污；因他们的食物只为自己的口腹，必不奉入耶和华的殿。

大卫蒙头赤脚上橄榄山，一面上一面哭。跟随他的人也都蒙头哭着上去；

摩西对亚伦和他儿子以利亚撒、以他玛说：“不可蓬头散发，也不可撕裂衣裳，免得你们死亡，又免得耶和华向会众发怒；只要你们的弟兄以色列全家为耶和华所发的火哀哭。

“在弟兄中作大祭司、头上倒了膏油、又承接圣职、穿了圣衣的，不可蓬头散发，也不可撕裂衣服。

因我所遭遇的是出于你，我就默然不语。

先见必抱愧，占卜的必蒙羞，都必捂着嘴唇，因为神不应允他们。”

你当默然倚靠耶和华，耐性等候他；不要因那道路通达的和那恶谋成就的心怀不平。

“身上有长大麻风灾病的，他的衣服要撕裂，也要蓬头散发，蒙着上唇，喊叫说：‘不洁净了！不洁净了！’

他们必死得甚苦，无人哀哭，必不得葬埋，必在地上像粪土，必被刀剑和饥荒灭绝；他们的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物。”耶和华如此说：“不要进入丧家，不要去哀哭，也不要为他们悲伤，因我已将我的平安、慈爱、怜悯从这百姓夺去了。这是耶和华说的。连大带小，都必在这地死亡，不得葬埋。人必不为他们哀哭，不用刀划身，也不使头光秃。他们有丧事，人必不为他们擘饼，因死人安慰他们；他们丧父丧母，人也不给他们一杯酒安慰他们。

主耶和华说：“那日，殿中的诗歌变为哀号；必有许多尸首在各处抛弃，无人作声。”

那时，你们必行我仆人所行的，不蒙着嘴唇，也不吃吊丧的食物。你们仍要头上勒裹头巾，脚上穿鞋；不可悲哀哭泣。你们必因自己的罪孽相对叹息，渐渐消灭。

你们要休息，要知道我是神！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。

惟耶和华在他的圣殿中；全地的人都当在他面前肃敬静默。
