為死者毋揚爾聲、毋露爾首、毋去爾履、毋掩爾口、毋食苦餅。

你们将不能再献奠祭给耶和华，你们的祭牲也不蒙悦纳。这些祭物如居丧之人的食物，吃的人都被玷污。你们的食物只能供自己吃，不能带进耶和华的殿。

大卫蒙着头，赤着脚登上橄榄山，边走边哭，他的随从也蒙着头，哭着走上山。

摩西对亚伦和他剩下的两个儿子以利亚撒和以他玛说：“你们不要蓬头散发，也不要撕裂衣服，免得你们死亡，也免得耶和华向全体会众发怒。不过，你们的所有以色列同胞都可以为耶和华用火烧死的人哀伤。

“大祭司在众祭司中职分最高，头上浇过膏油，已经承受圣职、穿上圣衣，他不可披头散发、撕裂衣服。

我默然不语，一言不发，因为我受的责罚是出于你。

假先见必抱愧，占卜者必蒙羞。因得不到上帝的答复，你们必羞愧地捂着脸。”

要在耶和华面前安静，耐心等候祂，不要因恶人道路通达、阴谋得逞而愤愤不平。

“患麻风病的人必须撕裂衣服，披头散发，遮住脸的下半部，高喊‘不洁净！不洁净！’

‘他们必死于恶疾，无人哀悼，无人埋葬，他们好像地上的粪便。他们必死于战争和饥荒，尸首必成为飞鸟和走兽的食物。’”耶和华对我说：“你不要进入丧家为他们哀悼悲伤，因为我已收回我赐给这百姓的平安、慈爱和怜悯。这是耶和华说的。他们无论尊卑都要死在这里，无人埋葬，无人哀悼，也无人为他们的死而割伤身体、剃光头发。无人用食物和酒安慰哀悼者，甚至无人给丧父或丧母者一杯安慰酒。

到那日，殿里的歌声要变成哀号；尸横遍地，一片死寂。这是主耶和华说的。”

那时，你们将像我的仆人一样不蒙脸，不吃丧家吃的饭。你们仍将裹着头巾，穿着鞋，不哭泣，也不悲伤。你们必因自己的罪恶而默然叹息，逐渐灭亡。

祂说：“要安静，要知道我是上帝，我必在列国受尊崇，在普世受尊崇。”

但耶和华住在祂的圣殿中，世人都要在祂面前肃静。”
