For thus says the Lord God:“ Bring up a vast host against them, and make them an object of terror and a plunder.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder.

The Lord and King says,“ Bring an angry crowd against the sisters. Hand them over to those who will terrify them and steal everything they have.

“ Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Bring an army against them and hand them over to be terrorized and plundered.

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: Summon an assembly against them and consign them to terror and plunder.

“ For this is what the Lord God says:‘ Bring up a contingent against them and turn them over to terror and plunder.

“ For thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Bring up an assembly against them, give them up to trouble and plunder.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will bring up a company against them, and will give them to be tossed to and fro and robbed.

“ This is what the Lord God says: Summon an assembly against them and consign them to terror and plunder.

They shall set themselves against you on every side with buckler, shield, and helmet; and I will commit the judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.And I will direct my jealousy against you, that they may deal with you in fury. They shall cut off your nose and your ears, and your survivors shall fall by the sword. They shall seize your sons and your daughters, and your survivors shall be devoured by fire.They shall also strip you of your clothes and take away your beautiful jewels.

behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

“ Therefore, thus says the Lord: You have not obeyed me by proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother and to his neighbor; behold, I proclaim to you liberty to the sword, to pestilence, and to famine, declares the Lord. I will make you a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
