以色列众人听见耶罗波安回来了，就派人去请他到会众那里，立他作全以色列的王。除了犹大支派，没有跟从大卫家的。

在撒冷有他的住处，在锡安有他的居所。

愿你的眼目昼夜看顾这殿，就是你说要作为你名的居所；求你垂听祷告，你仆人向此处的祷告。

你拿你为我所生的儿女献给它们吞噬。你的淫乱岂是小事？

“你去向耶路撒冷居民的耳朵呼喊，耶和华如此说：‘你年轻时的恩爱，新婚时的爱情，你怎样在旷野，在未耕种之地跟随我，我都记得。那时以色列归耶和华为圣，作为他初熟的土产；凡吞吃它的必算为有罪，灾祸必临到他们。这是耶和华说的。’”

王就羡慕你的美貌；因为他是你的主，你当向他下拜。推罗必来送礼，百姓中富足的人也必向你求恩。君王的女儿在宫里极其荣华，她的衣服是金线绣的；她穿锦绣的衣服，引到王面前，陪伴她的童女随从她，也被带到你面前。她们要欢喜快乐，被引导进入王宫。你的子孙要接续你列祖，你要立他们在各地作王。

他们必聚集众人攻击你，用石头打死你，用刀剑刺透你，

我的弟兄们，这样说来，你们藉着基督的身体对律法也是死了，使你们归于另一位，就是归于那从死人中复活的，为要使我们结果子给上帝。
