On the very day they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my sanctuary and desecrated it. That is what they did in my house.

我所亲爱的既多设恶谋，还能在我殿中做什么呢？你因作恶就喜乐，圣肉要离开你。

此外，她们还向我这样做：同一天又玷污我的圣所，干犯我的安息日。

城里的领袖为贿赂行审判，祭司为酬劳施训诲，先知为银钱行占卜；他们却倚赖耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们中间吗？灾祸必不临到我们。”

他在耶和华殿中筑坛，耶和华曾指着这殿说：“我的名必永远在耶路撒冷。”他在耶和华殿的两个院子为天上的万象筑坛，并在欣嫩子谷使他的儿子经火，又观星象，行法术，行邪术，求问招魂的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。他在上帝殿内立雕刻的偶像；上帝曾对大卫和他儿子所罗门说：“我在以色列众支派中所选择的耶路撒冷和这殿，必立我的名，直到永远。

他们把耶稣从该亚法那里押解到总督府。那时是清早。他们自己却不进总督府，恐怕染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的宴席。
