我要懲罰你，像懲罰淫亂和殺人的婦女一樣。我要把烈怒和義憤倒在你身上，報應你殺人流血的罪。

把自己的兒女燒死獻作祭物。他們占卜，行邪術，出賣自己去做耶和華視為惡的事，惹祂發怒。

她們焚燒自己的兒女獻祭給偶像，並在當天進入我的聖所，褻瀆聖所。這就是她們在我聖所裡的惡行。

你和你母親及姊妹如出一轍，都厭棄自己的丈夫和兒女。你母親是赫人，你父親是亞摩利人。

你這蕩婦，寧願跟外人淫亂，也不愛自己的丈夫。

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷啊！你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死派到你那裡的使者。我多次想要招聚你的兒女，像母雞將小雞招聚在翅膀底下，可是你們卻不肯。

你們至今仍把自己的兒子燒作祭物獻給偶像，玷污自己嗎？以色列人啊，我會讓你們求問嗎？主耶和華說，我憑我的永恆起誓，我決不讓你們求問。

她們是雙手沾滿血腥的淫婦，必有義人按她們應得的報應審判她們。』

不可把兒女當作祭物獻給假神摩洛，不可褻瀆你上帝的名。我是耶和華。

耶和華首次向何西阿說話時，對他說：「你去娶一個妓女為妻，和她生養兒女，因為這片土地上的人極其淫亂，背棄了耶和華。」

瑪拿西濫殺無辜，使耶路撒冷血流遍地，耶和華不會赦免這些罪行。

「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。「在你們或寄居在你們中間的外族人中，如果有人把子女獻給假神摩洛，必須處死他，當地的人要用石頭打死他。我也必嚴懲那人，將他從民中剷除。因為他把子女獻給摩洛，玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的聖名。如果那地方的人對此置之不理，沒有處死那人，我必嚴懲那人一家，從民中剷除他和那些追隨他與摩洛苟合的人。

「人子啊，你要審判耶路撒冷這殺人流血的城。你要審判她，使她知道自己一切可憎的行為。你要向她宣告主耶和華的話，說，『唉，你這殺人流血、製造偶像玷污自己的城啊，你的末日到了。你既犯罪殺人、製造偶像玷污自己、自招審判，我要使你成為列國列邦侮辱和譏諷的對象。

主耶和華說：「這像鏽鍋一樣充滿血腥的城有禍了！要把肉從這鏽跡斑斑的鍋中一塊塊地取出來。這城沾滿血腥，任憑受害者的血流在光禿禿的磐石上，而不是流在地上用土掩蓋。我任憑這城把受害者的血灑在磐石上，不加掩蓋，好激起我的烈怒，使她受報應。所以主耶和華說，『血腥的城啊，你有禍了！我要預備大堆木柴，

他們咒詛、撒謊、兇殺、偷竊、通姦，為所欲為，血案纍纍。

你們偷盜、謀殺、通姦、起假誓、向巴力獻祭、拜素不認識的神明，

你們不可按照他們的方式敬拜你們的上帝耶和華。他們祭拜自己神明的種種行為令耶和華憎惡，他們甚至焚燒自己的兒女獻給他們的神明。

以血腥建立錫安，以罪惡建造耶路撒冷。

耶和華對何西阿說：「你要再去愛那個另有新歡的淫婦，像耶和華愛以色列人一樣愛她。儘管他們祭拜別的神明，喜愛葡萄餅，耶和華仍然愛他們。」

他們把自己的兒女當祭物獻給鬼魔，他們把自己的兒女獻給迦南的神像作祭物，流他們兒女無辜的血，玷污了那地方。

他燒死自己的兒子，獻作祭物；他行邪術，占卜，求問靈媒和巫師，做了許多耶和華視為惡的事，惹耶和華發怒。

不欺壓異鄉人和孤兒寡婦，不在這地方濫殺無辜，不拜其他神明自取毀滅，

姐姐名叫阿荷拉，妹妹名叫阿荷利巴。後來她們都歸屬了我，並且生兒育女。阿荷拉即撒瑪利亞，阿荷利巴即耶路撒冷。「阿荷拉歸屬我後仍然淫亂，貪戀她的情人——亞述人。
