你要上去攻擊米拉大翁之地，又攻擊比割的居民。將他們追殺滅盡，照我所吩咐你的一切去做。這是耶和華說的。

於是以賽亞先知到希西家王那裏去，對他說：「這些人說了些甚麼？他們從哪裏來見你？」希西家說：「他們從遠方的巴比倫來。」以賽亞說：「他們在你家裏看見了甚麼？」希西家說：「凡我家中所有的，他們都看見了；我財寶中沒有一樣東西不給他們看的。」以賽亞對希西家說：「你要聽耶和華的話：耶和華說：『看哪，日子將到，凡你家裏所有的，並你祖先積蓄到如今的一切，都要被擄到巴比倫去，不留下一樣；

耶和華派迦勒底、亞蘭、摩押和亞捫人的軍隊來攻擊約雅敬；耶和華派他們來攻擊猶大，要毀滅它，正如耶和華藉他僕人眾先知所說的話。

看哪，迦勒底人之地，這國民如今已不復存在。亞述人使它成為住曠野者的居所。他們建築自己的瞭望樓，拆毀它的宮殿，使它成為荒涼。

第三條河名叫底格里斯，它流到亞述的東邊。第四條河就是幼發拉底。

她戀慕亞述人，就是省長和副省長，披掛整齊的戰士，騎着馬的騎士，全都是俊美的年輕人。

他還說話的時候，又有人來說：「迦勒底人分成三隊忽然闖來，把駱駝擄去，並用刀殺了僕人；惟有我一人逃脫，來報信給你。」

他的子孫住在哈腓拉，直到埃及東邊的書珥，向着亞述，在他眾弟兄的對面安頓下來。

他就離開迦勒底人的地方，住在哈蘭。他父親死了以後，上帝使他從那裏搬到你們現在所住的地方。

西底家作王第九年十月初十，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領全軍前來攻擊耶路撒冷，對城安營，四圍築堡壘攻城。城被圍困，直到西底家王十一年。四月初九，城裏的饑荒非常嚴重，當地的百姓都沒有糧食。

「人子啊，你要畫定兩條路線，使巴比倫王的刀過來，這兩條路必從同一地分出來；要在通往城裏的路口畫手作指標。你要劃定一條路，使刀來到亞捫人的拉巴，來到猶大，在堅固城耶路撒冷。因為巴比倫王站在岔路上，在兩條路口占卜。他搖籤求問神像，察看肝臟；右手是耶路撒冷的占卜，以便安設撞城槌，張口喊殺，揚聲呼叫，建土堆，築堡壘，以撞城槌攻打城門。在那些曾鄭重起誓的猶大人眼中，這是虛假的占卜；但巴比倫王要使他們想起自己的罪孽，以便俘擄他們。」於是，主耶和華如此說：「因你們的過犯顯露，你們的罪孽被記得，以致你們的罪惡在你們一切的行為上都彰顯出來；你們既被記得，就被擄在掌中。你這褻瀆行惡的以色列王啊，你的日子，最後懲罰的時刻已來臨。主耶和華如此說：當除掉榮冕，摘下華冠，景況已不復從前；要使卑者升為高，使高者降為卑。我要將這國傾覆，傾覆，再傾覆；這國必不存在，直等到那應得的人來到，我就將國賜給他。」
