你要上去攻击米拉大翁之地，又攻击比割的居民。将他们追杀灭尽，照我所吩咐你的一切去做。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华派迦勒底、亚兰、摩押和亚扪人的军队来攻击约雅敬；耶和华派他们来攻击犹大，要毁灭它，正如耶和华藉他仆人众先知所说的话。

看哪，迦勒底人之地，这国民如今已不复存在。亚述人使它成为住旷野者的居所。他们建筑自己的瞭望楼，拆毁它的宫殿，使它成为荒凉。

第三条河名叫底格里斯，它流到亚述的东边。第四条河就是幼发拉底。

她恋慕亚述人，就是省长和副省长，披挂整齐的战士，骑着马的骑士，全都是俊美的年轻人。

他的子孙住在哈腓拉，直到埃及东边的书珥，向着亚述，在他众弟兄的对面安顿下来。

他就离开迦勒底人的地方，住在哈兰。他父亲死了以后，上帝使他从那里搬到你们现在所住的地方。

西底家作王第九年十月初十，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒率领全军前来攻击耶路撒冷，对城安营，四围筑堡垒攻城。城被围困，直到西底家王十一年。四月初九，城里的饥荒非常严重，当地的百姓都没有粮食。

“人子啊，你要画定两条路线，使巴比伦王的刀过来，这两条路必从同一地分出来；要在通往城里的路口画手作指标。你要划定一条路，使刀来到亚扪人的拉巴，来到犹大，在坚固城耶路撒冷。因为巴比伦王站在岔路上，在两条路口占卜。他摇签求问神像，察看肝脏；右手是耶路撒冷的占卜，以便安设撞城槌，张口喊杀，扬声呼叫，建土堆，筑堡垒，以撞城槌攻打城门。在那些曾郑重起誓的犹大人眼中，这是虚假的占卜；但巴比伦王要使他们想起自己的罪孽，以便俘掳他们。”于是，主耶和华如此说：“因你们的过犯显露，你们的罪孽被记得，以致你们的罪恶在你们一切的行为上都彰显出来；你们既被记得，就被掳在掌中。你这亵渎行恶的以色列王啊，你的日子，最后惩罚的时刻已来临。主耶和华如此说：当除掉荣冕，摘下华冠，景况已不复从前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。我要将这国倾覆，倾覆，再倾覆；这国必不存在，直等到那应得的人来到，我就将国赐给他。”
