“ Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Lord GOD says: I am going to incite your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust. I will bring them against you from every side:

阿荷利巴啊，主耶和华如此说：“我必激动你先爱而后生疏的人来攻击你。我必使他们来，在你四围攻击你。

阿荷利巴啊，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我要激起先前你喜爱，而后生疏的人前来攻击你。我必使他们前来，在你四围攻击你；

阿荷利巴啊，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我要激起先前你喜爱，而后生疏的人前来攻击你。我必使他们前来，在你四围攻击你；

“因此，主耶和华对阿荷利巴这样说，‘我要使那些被你离弃的情人从四面八方来攻击你。

“因此，阿荷利巴啊！主耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必激动你的爱人攻击你，就是你心所疏远的人；我必带他们来从四面攻击你。

「因此，主耶和華對阿荷利巴這樣說，『我要使那些被你離棄的情人從四面八方來攻擊你。

“因此，阿荷利巴啊！主耶和華這樣說：‘看哪！我必激動你的愛人攻擊你，就是你心所疏遠的人；我必帶他們來從四面攻擊你。

『故此、阿荷利巴啊，主永恆主這麼說：「看吧，我必激動你所愛的人來攻擊你，就是你的心跟他們疏隔的那些人，我必使這些人來、從四圍來攻擊你：

阿荷利巴乎、主耶和華曰、爾之情人、爾所厭者、我必興之以攻爾、四方集之以敵爾、

今亞何利巴、宜聽主耶和華之言、爾之所懽、為爾厭憎者、我必使之四方攻爾、

故主天主如是云、阿荷利巴歟、爾先所愛後所惡之人、我必激之來攻爾、使來自四周攻爾、

“ Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will stir up your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side—

So the Lord and King says,“ Oholibah, I will stir up your lovers against you. You became sick of them. You turned away from them. But I will bring them against you from every side.

Therefore, O Oholibah, thus says the Lord God:“ Behold, I will stir up against you your lovers from whom you turned in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side:

“ Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will send your lovers against you from every direction— those very nations from which you turned away in disgust.

“ Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Lord God says:‘ Behold I am going to incite your lovers against you, from whom you turned away in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side:

“ Therefore, Oholibah, thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Behold, I will stir up your lovers against you, From whom you have alienated yourself, And I will bring them against you from every side:

Therefore, O Oholibah, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side:

“ Therefore Oholibah, this is what the Lord God says: I am going to incite your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust. I will bring them against you from every side:

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

“ Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the sovereign LORD says: Look here, I am about to stir up against you the lovers with whom you were disgusted; I will bring them against you from every side:

“ Therefore, Oholibah, the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side:

I am therefore going to gather all the lovers you pleased— all those you loved as well as all those you hated. I will gather them against you from all around and expose your nakedness to them so they see you completely naked.

Woe to Assyria, the rod of my anger— the staff in their hands is my wrath.I will send him against a godless nation; I will command him to go against a people destined for my rage, to take spoils, to plunder, and to trample them down like clay in the streets.

Look! I am raising up the Chaldeans, that bitter, impetuous nation that marches across the earth’s open spaces to seize territories not its own.They are fierce and terrifying; their views of justice and sovereignty stem from themselves.Their horses are swifter than leopards and more fierce than wolves of the night. Their horsemen charge ahead; their horsemen come from distant lands. They fly like eagles, swooping to devour.All of them come to do violence; their faces are set in determination. They gather prisoners like sand.They mock kings, and rulers are a joke to them. They laugh at every fortress and build siege ramps to capture it.

“ For this is what the Lord GOD says: I am going to hand you over to those you hate, to those you turned away from in disgust.

Then the prophet Isaiah came to King Hezekiah and asked him,“ What did these men say, and where did they come to you from?” Hezekiah replied,“ They came to me from a distant country, from Babylon.”Isaiah asked,“ What have they seen in your palace?” Hezekiah answered,“ They have seen everything in my palace. There isn’t anything in my treasuries that I didn’t show them.”

This is what the LORD says: Look, an army is coming from a northern land; a great nation will be stirred up from the remote regions of the earth.They grasp bow and javelin. They are cruel and show no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride on horses, lined up like men in battle formation against you, Daughter Zion.

Therefore, I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians she lusted for.

The ten horns you saw, and the beast, will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, devour her flesh, and burn her up with fire.

Is my inheritance like a hyena to me? Are birds of prey circling her? Go, gather all the wild animals; bring them to devour her.Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard; they have trampled my plot of land. They have turned my desirable plot into a desolate wasteland.They have made it a desolation. It mourns, desolate, before me. All the land is desolate, but no one takes it to heart.Over all the barren heights in the wilderness the destroyers have come, for the LORD has a sword that devours from one end of the earth to the other. No one has peace.
