“他们以暴力抢夺，堆积在自己的宫殿里，却不懂得行正直的事。”这是耶和华说的。

为要扭曲贫寒人的案件，夺去我民中困苦人的理，以寡妇当作掳物，以孤儿当作掠物。

“若有外人寄居在你们的地上和你同住，不可欺负他。

因你们的手掌被血沾染，你们的指头被罪玷污，你们的嘴唇说谎言，你们的舌头出恶语。无人按公义控诉，也无人凭诚实辩白；却倚靠虚妄，口说谎言，怀毒害，生罪孽。他们孵毒蛇蛋，结蜘蛛网。凡吃这蛋的必死，蛋一打破，就孵出蛇来。所结的网不能当衣服，无法掩盖自己所作所为。他们的行为全是邪恶，手所做的尽都残暴。他们的脚奔跑行恶，急速流无辜者的血；他们的思想全是恶念，走过的路尽是破坏与毁灭。

他们看上田地就占据，贪图房屋便夺取；他们欺压户主和他的家庭，霸占人和他的产业。

亏负困苦和贫穷的人，抢夺别人的物件，不归还抵押品，却向偶像举目，做可憎的事；

“因为他们从最小的到最大的都贪图不义之财，从先知到祭司全都行事虚假。

工人给你们收割庄稼，你们克扣他们的工钱；这工钱在喊冤，而且收割工人的冤声已经进入万军之主的耳朵了。

在我百姓当中有恶人，他们埋伏，好像捕鸟的人在窥探；他们设罗网陷害人。笼子怎样装满雀鸟，他们的屋里也照样充满诡诈；他们因此得以强大富足。他们肥胖光润，作恶过甚，不为人伸冤，不为孤儿伸冤，使他们胜诉，也不为贫穷人辩护。

你们吃我百姓的肉，剥他们的皮，打断他们的骨头，如切块下锅，如釜中的肉。

我流浪在外，你们没有留我住；我赤身露体，你们没有给我穿；我病了，我在监狱里，你们没有来看顾我。’
