“如果有外人在你們的地方，與你們一起寄居，你們不可欺負他。

因為你們的手沾滿了血，你們的指頭被罪孽玷污，你們的嘴唇說虛謊的話，你們的舌頭講出兇言。沒有人按公義求告，沒有人憑誠實爭辯；他們都倚靠虛無，說虛謊的話；所懷的是毒害，所生的是罪孽。他們所孵化的是毒蛇的蛋，他們所結的是蜘蛛的網，吃了牠們的蛋，就一定死；蛋破了，就孵出蝮蛇來。他們的網，不能作衣服，他們所作的，也不能遮蓋自己；他們所作的是罪孽的作為，他們的手裡滿是強暴的行為。他們的腳奔跑行惡，他們急於流無辜人的血；他們的思想都是邪惡的思想，他們的行徑全是破壞和毀滅。

他們要田地，就去搶奪；想要房屋，就去強取。他們欺壓人和他的家眷，取人和人的產業。

他欺壓困苦和貧窮的人，搶奪人的物件，沒有把抵押品歸還，眼目仰望偶像，並行可憎的事；

“他們從最小的到最大的，個個都貪圖不義之財；從先知到祭司，全都行事詭詐。

看哪，工人為你們收割莊稼，你們竟然剋扣他們的工資；那工資必為他們呼冤；收割者的呼聲，已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。

在我的子民中發現了惡人，他們好像捕鳥的人蹲伏窺探，裝置網羅捕捉人。籠中怎樣滿了雀鳥，他們的屋裡也滿了詭詐；他們就因此財雄勢大。他們肥胖光潤，作盡各種壞事；他們不為人辯護，不替孤兒辨屈，使他們獲益，也不為窮人伸冤。

你們吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打斷他們的骨頭，切成像鍋裡的塊，像釜中的肉塊。

我作旅客，你們沒有接待我；我赤身露體，你們沒有給我衣服穿；我病了，我在監裡，你們沒有看顧我。’
