他們謀害寡婦、外族人和孤兒，

他們不知正道，強取豪奪，在他們的堡壘中積斂錢財。這是耶和華說的。」

你們冤枉窮人，奪去我子民中困苦者的權利，擄掠寡婦，搶劫孤兒。

不可欺負住在你們境內的外族人，

你們的手染滿了血污，手指沾滿了罪惡。你們的嘴唇吐出謊言，舌頭嘀咕惡事。無人按公義訴訟，無人憑誠實申辯。你們依靠詭辯，口出謊言，心懷鬼胎，生出罪惡。你們孵毒蛇蛋，人吃了這蛋必死，蛋破後爬出毒蛇。你們編蜘蛛網，這網不能做衣服遮蓋你們。你們行為邪惡，做事殘暴。你們奔向邪惡，急於濫殺無辜；你們心懷惡念，所到之處大肆毀滅。

他們貪圖田地，就去霸佔；想要房屋，就去搶奪。他們欺壓人，詐取別人的家園和產業。

欺壓貧窮困苦的人，搶奪財物，扣留債戶的抵押品，祭拜偶像，犯罪作惡，

因為他們無論貴賤，個個都貪圖不義之財；無論是先知還是祭司，都行為詭詐。

工人替你們收割莊稼，你們卻剋扣他們的工錢。那工錢發出不平的呼喊，工人的冤聲已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。

我的子民中有惡人，他們像捕鳥人一樣埋伏等候，設下網羅陷害人。他們的家裡充滿了詭詐，就像籠子裝滿了鳥。他們變得有財有勢，吃得肥胖紅潤，壞事做盡，不為孤兒伸冤，不為窮人主持公道。」

你們吃我百姓的肉，剝我百姓的皮，打碎他們的骨頭，把他們切成塊，如同下在鍋裡、放進釜中的肉。

我身在異鄉時，你們不接待我；我赤身露體時，你們不給我衣服；我生病時，你們不照顧我；我坐牢時，你們不來看我。』
