Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says’— when the Lord has not spoken.

The prophets cover up these acts for them. The visions of these prophets are false. They use magic to try to find out what is going to happen. But their magic tricks are lies. They say,‘ The Lord and King says.’ But I have not spoken to them.

And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

因彼誘惑我民、無平康之時、反言有平康、猶如我民築墻、彼乃塗灰、爾當告彼塗灰者云、其墻必傾圮、因暴雨暴雨或作沖物之雨下同必下、我亦使大雹降、狂風大作、墻既傾圮、人必詰爾曰、爾所塗者安在、主天主如是云、我震烈怒盛忿、起狂風、下暴雨、降大雹、或作主天主如是云我發忿使狂風大作我震怒下沖物之暴雨我發烈怒降大雹毀之殆盡、爾所塗之墻、我必毀之、使傾於地、基址顯露、墻既傾圮、爾曹必亡其中、爾則知我乃主、我毀墻與塗之者以雪我忿、或作我向墻與塗之者發盡我之盛忿是時我必告爾曰、墻已歸於無有、塗之者亦歸於無有、此即以色列之先知、為耶路撒冷述預言、在無平康之時、自言得默示、宣平康、此乃主天主所言、○

惟彼先知、佯託我名、傳述預言曰、我得夢矣、我得夢矣、其所言我聞之矣、彼偽先知傳示虛誑、欲存此心、將至何時、彼自稱為先知、但傳示己心之詭譎、以為預言、彼互述所夢、意欲使我民忘我之名、若厥祖因崇事巴力而忘我名、凡先知有夢、則直示為夢、凡得我言、則以誠實示為我言、惟糠與麥、何能比儗、何能比儗或作何同之有此乃主所言、主曰、我之言若火、若鎚碎磐、主曰、凡先知互竊我言者、我必罰之、主曰、凡先知隨口出詞、妄言曰主云者、我必罰之、主曰、凡先知未奉我遣我命、以幻夢為預言、傳述於人、又以誑言誇詐之詞、迷惑我民、使民無益者、我必罰之、此乃主所言、

卜筮所示爾惟空浮、為爾所占悉虛妄、使爾喪命偃仆、爾屍與見殺之惡者屍、彼此枕藉、其罪貫盈、受報之日已至、

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、勿為爾中之先知及筮人所惑、爾曹所夢者亦勿信、彼皆偽託我名、妄述預言於爾、我未嘗遣之、此乃主所言、

主曰、我必使其妻室歸他人、使其田畝歸他人為業、緣彼自小至大、俱貪不義之財、先知及祭司俱行詭詐、彼輕遽醫我民之傷曰、平康、平康、而無平康、

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、我已折巴比倫王之軛、

惟彼先知、我未遣之、彼自奔趨、我未諭之、彼擅自而言、

爾之先知、曾向爾預言曰、巴比倫王必不來攻爾、亦不攻斯地、而今彼安在、

其先知驕傲詭詐、其祭司污衊聖所、干犯律法、

彼告先見曰、勿言未來之事、對得默示者曰、勿以正直為默示傳於我、當以柔媚之詞告我、以虛誕為默示傳於我、

其中先知結黨、若咆哮之獅、攫傷生物、彼吞食人民、強奪財寶、使其中多有嫠婦、

惟彼善人、我不使之憂、爾言妄誕、使彼中心憂戚、又使惡人膽敢不忌、俾不離惡道、不得生存、故爾不得復妄言得默示、不得復占虛偽之卜筮、我必救我民脫於爾手、爾則知我乃主、
