I will scatter you among the nations and disperse you through the countries, and I will consume your uncleanness out of you.

I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you through the countries; and I will put an end to your uncleanness.

Into the fire with its corrosion!On account of your unclean lewdness, because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed from your uncleanness, you shall not be cleansed anymore till I have satisfied my fury upon you.I am the Lord. “ The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

Thus I will put an end to your lewdness and your whoring begun in the land of Egypt, so that you shall not lift up your eyes to them or remember Egypt anymore.

“ And the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.

They wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with none to search or seek for them.
