“人子啊，你要说预言，告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要预言，说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

人子歟、當預言曰、耶和華云、有刃有刃、既利且光、

人子、當傳我命曰、磨礪鋒刃、光芒四射。

人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、

For my sword has drunk its fill in the sky. Behold, it will come down on Edom, and on the people of my curse, for judgment.Yahweh’s sword is filled with blood. Destroyers have come on all the bare heights in the wilderness; for the sword of Yahweh devours from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land. No flesh has peace.

Though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. I will set my eyes on them for evil, and not for good.

In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.

God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day.If a man doesn’t repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow.He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death. He makes ready his flaming arrows.

For Yahweh will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh; and those slain by Yahweh will be many.
