“人子啊，你要预言。耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要说预言，告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要预言，说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要說預言，告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要預言，說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：主這麼說：你要說：有刀，有刀，又磨快，又擦亮；

人子歟、當預言曰、耶和華云、有刃有刃、既利且光、

人子、當傳我命曰、磨礪鋒刃、光芒四射。

人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished—

“ Son of man, prophesy. Say,‘ The Lord says,“‘ “A sword! A sword! A sharp and shiny sword is coming from Babylon!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord, say:“ A sword, a sword is sharpened and also polished,

“ Son of man, give the people this message from the Lord:“ A sword, a sword is being sharpened and polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy,‘ This is what the Lord says!’ You are to proclaim,‘ A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:’ Say,‘ A sword, a sword sharpened And also polished!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord!’ Say:‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished!

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

“ Son of man, prophesy: This is what the Lord says! You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

“ Son of man, prophesy and say:‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ Yahweh says:“ A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.

and say to her:‘ This is what the Lord says: I am against you. I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked. (niv)

He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him; (niv)

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says about the Ammonites and their insults:“‘ A sword, a sword, drawn for the slaughter, polished to consume and to flash like lightning! (niv)

So that hearts may melt with fear and the fallen be many, I have stationed the sword for slaughter at all their gates. Look! It is forged to strike like lightning, it is grasped for slaughter. (niv)

when I sharpen my flashing sword and my hand grasps it in judgment, I will take vengeance on my adversaries and repay those who hate me.I will make my arrows drunk with blood, while my sword devours flesh: the blood of the slain and the captives, the heads of the enemy leaders.” (niv)

My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; see, it descends in judgment on Edom, the people I have totally destroyed.The sword of the Lord is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat— the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. (niv)

Over all the barren heights in the desert destroyers will swarm, for the sword of the Lord will devour from one end of the land to the other; no one will be safe. (niv)

Though they are driven into exile by their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them.“ I will keep my eye on them for harm and not for good.” (niv)

And if they ask you,‘ Where shall we go?’ tell them,‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ Those destined for death, to death; those for the sword, to the sword; those for starvation, to starvation; those for captivity, to captivity.’ (niv)

In that day, the Lord will punish with his sword— his fierce, great and powerful sword— Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea. (niv)

God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day.If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow.He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. (niv)

For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the Lord. (niv)
