「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要预言。耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要说预言，告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要预言，说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要說預言，告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要預言，說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：主這麼說：你要說：有刀，有刀，又磨快，又擦亮；

人子歟、當預言曰、耶和華云、有刃有刃、既利且光、

人子、當傳我命曰、磨礪鋒刃、光芒四射。

人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished—

“ Son of man, give the people this message from the Lord:“ A sword, a sword is being sharpened and polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy,‘ This is what the Lord says!’ You are to proclaim,‘ A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:’ Say,‘ A sword, a sword sharpened And also polished!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord!’ Say:‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished!

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

“ Son of man, prophesy: This is what the Lord says! You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

“ Son of man, prophesy and say:‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ Yahweh says:“ A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.

你要向以色列地說，耶和華如此說：看哪，我與你為敵，拔刀出鞘，把義人和惡人從你中間剪除。

箭一抽，就從他背上出來，發亮的箭頭從他膽中出來；有驚惶臨到他身上。

「人子啊，你要說預言；你要說，論到亞捫人和他們的凌辱，主耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀，拔出來的刀，已經擦亮，為了行殺戮；它亮如閃電以行吞滅。

我設立這恐嚇的刀，攻擊他們一切的城門，為要使他們的心驚慌害怕，許多人因而跌倒。唉！它造得像閃電，磨得尖利，要行殺戮。

我若磨我閃亮的刀，我的手掌握審判權，就必報復我的敵人，報應那些恨我的人。我要使我的箭飲血而醉，就是被殺被擄之人的血；我的刀也要吃肉，就是仇敵披髮頭顱的肉。』

因為我的刀在天上將要顯現；看哪，這刀臨到以東和我所詛咒的民，要施行審判。耶和華的刀沾滿了血，是用油脂和羔羊、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腎上的油脂滋潤的；因為在波斯拉有祭物獻給耶和華，在以東地有大屠殺。

滅命的來到曠野中一切光禿的高地；耶和華的刀從地這邊直到地那邊，盡行殺滅，凡血肉之軀都不得平安。

雖然被仇敵擄去，我也必在那裏命令刀劍殺戮他們；我必定睛在他們身上，降禍不降福。」

他們若問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你就告訴他們，耶和華如此說：『定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必被刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。』」

到那日，耶和華必用他堅硬銳利的大刀懲罰力威亞探，就是那爬得快的蛇，懲罰力威亞探，就是那彎彎曲曲的蛇，並殺死海裏的大魚。

上帝是公義的審判者，又是天天向惡人發怒的上帝。若有人不回頭，他的刀必磨快，弓必上弦，預備妥當。他也預備了致死的兵器，他所射的是火箭。

耶和華必以火與刀審判凡有血肉之軀的，被耶和華所殺的很多。
