Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

“人子啊，你要预言。耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要预言说，耶和华如此吩咐，你要说：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

“人子啊，你要说预言，告诉他们，耶和华这样说，“‘有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要预言，说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

「人子啊，你要預言。耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要預言說，耶和華如此吩咐，你要說：有刀，刀已磨快，又擦亮了；

「人子啊，你要說預言，告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『有一把刀，有一把刀磨快擦亮了，

“人子啊！你要預言，說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：主這麼說：你要說：有刀，有刀，又磨快，又擦亮；

人子歟、當預言曰、耶和華云、有刃有刃、既利且光、

人子、當傳我命曰、磨礪鋒刃、光芒四射。

人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished—

“ Son of man, prophesy. Say,‘ The Lord says,“‘ “A sword! A sword! A sharp and shiny sword is coming from Babylon!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord, say:“ A sword, a sword is sharpened and also polished,

“ Son of man, give the people this message from the Lord:“ A sword, a sword is being sharpened and polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy,‘ This is what the Lord says!’ You are to proclaim,‘ A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord says:’ Say,‘ A sword, a sword sharpened And also polished!

“ Son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord!’ Say:‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished!

“ Son of man, prophesy: This is what the Lord says! You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is sharpened and also polished.

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

“ Son of man, prophesy and say:‘ This is what the Lord says:“‘ A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also polished.

“ Son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ Yahweh says:“ A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.

and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

He draweth it forth, and it cometh out of his body; Yea, the glittering point cometh out of his gall: Terrors are upon him.

And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! it is made as lightning, it is pointed for slaughter.

If I whet my glittering sword, And my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine adversaries, And will recompense them that hate me.I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, And my sword shall devour flesh; With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the head of the leaders of the enemy.

For my sword hath drunk its fill in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Edom, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of Jehovah is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for Jehovah hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

Destroyers are come upon all the bare heights in the wilderness; for the sword of Jehovah devoureth from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh hath peace.

And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

And it shall come to pass, when they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith Jehovah: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for captivity, to captivity.

In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.

God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day.If a man turn not, he will whet his sword; He hath bent his bow, and made it ready;He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; He maketh his arrows fiery shafts.

For by fire will Jehovah execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah shall be many.
