如果有人問你為什麼哀歎，你就說有噩耗傳來，聽見的人都膽戰心驚、兩手發軟、精神萎靡、膝弱如水。災難必很快發生。這是主耶和華說的。」

他们问你说：‘为何叹息呢？’你就说：‘因为有风声、灾祸要来。人心都必消化，手都发软，精神衰败，膝弱如水。看哪，这灾祸临近，必然成就。这是主耶和华说的。’”

若有人对你说：‘你为什么叹息呢？’你就说：‘因为有风声传来，人心惶惶，双手发软，精神衰败，膝弱如水。看哪，它临近了，一定会发生。’这是主耶和华说的。”

他們問你說：『為何歎息呢？』你就說：『因為有風聲、災禍要來。人心都必消化，手都發軟，精神衰敗，膝弱如水。看哪，這災禍臨近，必然成就。這是主耶和華說的。』」

若有人對你說：『你為甚麼嘆息呢？』你就說：『因為有風聲傳來，人心惶惶，雙手發軟，精神衰敗，膝弱如水。看哪，它臨近了，一定會發生。』這是主耶和華說的。」

如彼問爾何為太息、必曰、因聞音耗、其事將至、使眾心怯、手疲志餒、膝弱如水、其事將至、其言必成、主耶和華言之矣、○

如彼問爾、何為太息、必曰、因風聞將來之事、眾人喪膽、手疲膝倦、懦弱如水、禍患迫至、主耶和華已言之矣。

如彼問爾曰、緣何嗟嘆、爾則曰、因風聞將來之事、人皆膽怯、手疲心惶、膝弱如水、其事必至必成、此乃主天主所言、○

And when they ask you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ you shall say,‘ Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt with fear and every hand go limp; every spirit will become faint and every leg will be wet with urine.’ It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

They will ask you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ Then you will say,‘ Because of the news that is coming. The hearts of all the people will melt away in fear. Their hands will not be able to help them. Their spirits will grow weak. And they will be so afraid they’ll wet themselves.’ The news is coming! You can be sure those things will happen,” announces the Lord and King.

And when they say to you,‘ Why do you groan?’ you shall say,‘ Because of the news that it is coming. Every heart will melt, and all hands will be feeble; every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming, and it will be fulfilled,’” declares the Lord God.

When they ask why you are groaning, tell them,‘ I groan because of the terrifying news I have heard. When it comes true, the boldest heart will melt with fear; all strength will disappear. Every spirit will faint; strong knees will become as weak as water. And the Sovereign Lord says: It is coming! It’s on its way!’”

And when they ask you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ then say,‘ Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt, and every hand will become weak. Every spirit will be discouraged, and all knees will run with urine. Yes, it is coming and it will happen. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.’”

And when they say to you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ you shall say,‘ Because of the news, for it is coming; and every heart will melt, all hands will go limp, every spirit will be disheartened, and all knees will drip with water. Behold, it is coming and it will happen,’ declares the Lord God.”

And it shall be when they say to you,‘ Why are you sighing?’ that you shall answer,‘ Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,’ says the Lord GOD.”

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.

And when they ask you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ then say: Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt, and every hand will become weak. Every spirit will be discouraged, and every knee will turn to water. Yes, it is coming and it will happen.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak[ as] water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

When they ask you,‘ Why are you groaning?’ you will reply,‘ Because of the report that has come. Every heart will melt with fear and every hand will be limp; everyone will faint and every knee will be wet with urine.’ Pay attention– it is coming and it will happen, declares the sovereign LORD.”

It shall be, when they ask you,‘ Why do you sigh?’ that you shall say,‘ Because of the news, for it comes! Every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the Lord Yahweh.’”

他們必嚇得兩手發軟，雙腿戰抖。

災禍接踵而至，噩耗不斷傳來。那時，他們必求問先知，但祭司的教導必消逝，長老們必無計可施。

巴比倫王聞風喪膽，四肢發軟，像分娩的婦人一樣痛苦不堪。

人們都必雙手發軟，膽戰心驚，

尼尼微被洗劫一空！被洗劫一空！一片荒涼！人們膽戰心驚，雙膝哆嗦，渾身發抖，面色蒼白。

此情此景使我們黯然神傷，淚眼模糊。

耶和華說：「看啊，有一個民族從北方來，有一個強國從地極發動進攻。他們殘酷無情，毫無憐憫，手持弓箭長槍，騎馬奔來，聲勢如狂濤怒吼。錫安城啊，他們準備列陣攻擊你。」我們聽到這風聲，手腳發軟，痛苦萬分，如分娩的婦人。

萬物的盡頭快到了。因此，你們要謹慎自律，警醒禱告。

論到大馬士革，耶和華說：「哈馬和亞珥拔驚恐不安，因為他們聽見了壞消息。他們心驚膽戰，像大海一樣無法平靜。

於是我說：「唉，主耶和華啊，他們在議論我說，『這人豈不是在說比喻嗎？』」

「人子啊，主耶和華對以色列這樣說，『結局到了，以色列全境的結局到了！以色列，你的結局到了，我的怒氣必傾倒在你身上，我必按你的行為審判你，照你的一切惡行報應你。我必不顧惜你，也不憐憫你，我必按你的惡行報應你。這樣，你必知道我是耶和華。』」主耶和華說：「看啊，災禍來了，一場空前的災禍來了！結局到了，結局到了，你的結局到了！以色列境內的居民啊，惡運降臨了！時候已到，日子已近，山上一片恐慌，歡樂蕩然無存。我快要向你傾倒我的烈怒，發出我的怒氣。我必按你的行為審判你，照你一切的惡行報應你。我必不顧惜你，也不憐憫你，我必按你的惡行報應你。這樣，你就知道懲罰你的是我耶和華。「看啊，看啊，日子到了，大禍臨頭了！杖已經發芽，傲慢已經開花。暴行成了懲罰邪惡的杖，以色列人必沒有一個能夠存留，他們的財富和尊榮必不復存在。時候到了，日子近了，買主不要歡樂，賣主也不要憂愁，因為烈怒臨到了所有的人。

「我要使你們當中的那些倖存者在敵國心驚膽戰，過著風聲鶴唳、惶恐不安的生活。

災難必不分晝夜、日復一日地掃過，每次掃過都必將你們擄去。」明白這信息的人都必驚恐萬分。

所以，你們要舉起下垂的手，挺直發酸的腿，

亞蘭和以色列結盟的消息傳到猶大王那裡，舉國上下都嚇得膽戰心驚，好像林中被風吹動的樹木。

天體必震動，人類想到世界要面臨的事都嚇得魂不附體。

以東的族長惶恐，摩押的英雄顫慄，迦南的居民都膽戰心驚。

那時候，你手下的人再膽量過人，也會膽戰心驚。因為全以色列都知道你父親是英雄，他的部下都是勇士。

「人子啊，你們以色列有一句俗語，『光陰流逝，異象都落空。』主耶和華這樣宣告，我要廢掉這句俗語，使它從以色列人的口中消失。你要對他們說，『日子已近，異象都要應驗。』在以色列人中必不再有虛假的異象和諂媚的預言。我是耶和華，我的話都必實現，決不遲延。你們這叛逆的人啊，我說的話必在你們有生之年應驗！」這是主耶和華說的。耶和華對我說：「人子啊，你看，以色列人在說，『他見的異象是關乎多年後的事，他說的預言是針對遙遠的未來。』因此，你要對他們說，『主耶和華這樣說，我的話必應驗，不再遲延。』這是主耶和華說的。」

你們要使軟弱的人強壯，使雙腿無力的人站穩。

百姓問我：「你可以告訴我們，你這樣做跟我們有什麼關係嗎？」

我有無限憂愁，傷心欲絕。

「人子啊，那些叛逆的以色列人不是問你在做什麽嗎？你要對他們說，『主耶和華說，這是關於耶路撒冷的首領和城中以色列人的預兆。』你要說，『我就是給你們的預兆，我所做的必發生在你們身上，你們必被擄流亡。』

官長也要告訴士兵，『有沒有膽怯、害怕的？他可以回家去，免得影響他人士氣。』

「我知道耶和華已經把這地方賜給你們，我們十分害怕。這裡所有的居民都嚇得膽戰心驚。因為你們離開埃及過紅海的時候，耶和華怎樣使紅海在你們面前成為乾地，你們怎樣對付約旦河東的兩個亞摩利王西宏和噩，怎樣把他們徹底消滅，我們都聽說了。我們聽了這些事，感到心驚膽戰、勇氣盡失。你們的上帝耶和華是天地萬物的上帝。

在約旦河西岸一帶的亞摩利眾王和沿海一帶的迦南眾王，聽說耶和華為了讓以色列人過河而使約旦河成為乾地，都嚇得膽戰心驚，勇氣盡失。

你曾教導許多人，使無力的手強壯。你的話使人免於跌倒，你使顫抖的膝硬朗。

所以，以色列的上帝耶和華要在耶路撒冷和猶大降下大災難，凡聽見這事的人都必耳鳴。
